Take a break from the chaos of the city and find rest in this peaceful, country spa retreat. Come and commune with nature; read or write a book; boat or kayak just 25 minutes away; or during the winter, ski just 30 minutes away. And whenever you feel like it, relax in a steam or dry sauna, try the refreshing cold plunge, or drift away in the restful, sleep-inducing jacuzzi. Binge on Netflix while sipping on exotic teas from the tea bar, along with honey from around the country and world.
I love country living and outdoor getaways. So, I chose to make my home and retreat for myself and others to enjoy in a country setting in Northwest Maryland. Nearby are hiking trails and the most beautiful lake. But I'm also into health. After a day of kayaking on the lake or hiking some of Maryland's beautiful parks, I like to come back and relax in dry or steam sauna or soak in a jacuzzi tub. All of this I have also made available for other peace-seeking, outdoor loving, spa enthusiasts.
This is farm country! The Honey Spa is located on approximately 4 acres of farm/agriculture land. Surrounded by trees and no neighbors in sight, pine and cedar trees also provide ample privacy. Occasional cows graze on the far end of the property, with evening visits by deer and foxes. Very few cars drive down the country road, so safe and pleasant walks can be enjoyed. Many neighbors offer free, free-range eggs. While this location is farm country, just about every grocery store and fast-food restaurant is represented just 10 minutes drive away. Target and Walmart are also nearby, and several Farmer's Markets offer fresh, local produce.. Up to five cars can park on the spacious drive way, with additional parking on the lower level. This is a great place to bring your bicycles and explore Carroll County. To go to local stores, driving is necessary.
