We are a family owned and operated a 5 rooms homestay with an interest in introducing great our history, culture and our way of life and hospitality to visitors from all over the world. Our homestay is in an idyllic location – nestled into the traditional fishing village of An Bang. We are some 250 meters away from the beach. Your beautiful private room offers you privacy and is equipped with a double bed, a mosquito net, free towels, air conditional, mini bar, TV, wardrobe, private bathroom... Of course you're having access to free Wi-Fi throughout the homestay and complimentary use of sun bed and umbrella on the beach area. We also share our passion for cooking and eating through our cooking classes. Ideally, we like to take our guests to the markets and buy ingredients together. In Vietnamese culture, we celebrate the preparation of food as a time to chat, laugh and be happy. We want our cooking class participants to join in on this culinary journey.

I was lucky to grow up in An Bang village and have many great memories of helping my father fish, playing with my brothers and sisters on the beach and climbing the palm trees. My father remembers a different time, where the beach was a place of great sadness. I want show people the real Vietnam. The accommodation is designed so that people can meet and talk with my family and the locals and understand our history, culture and our way of life

An Bang village is just 3km outside of Hoi An and is considered to be birth place of fishing in the area. With an original population of only 100 people, it still retains its old village charm and enjoys some of the best beaches in Vietnam. For generations, the fishermen of An Bang have followed the old traditions. They rise early and set sail in their circular boats at 3.00 in the morning which is when the fish are plentiful. They then return around two hours later to land their catch, which the womenfolk then sell at the local market.
