AT RIKIS PLACE is nestled just 100m from the foot of the mountain between fernkloof Nature Reserve and Maanschynkop Nature reserve.A 3 min. walk takes you down to Voelklip Beach. Your accommodation is spacious, sunny comfortable.Your fully equipped apartment is compeltely private with it's own street entrance on ground floor into the garden with your own Barbeque and parking under shade net, You are surrounded by flowers and beautiful mountain views.A truly serene location. This is the quiet suburb of 'Voelklip", which means Bird Rock after the rocks and Birds on the Beach.Hiking trails towards the Nature Reserve as well as the coastal hike into Town are well utilised by day hikers.The Hermanus Golf Club is 3min drive away and the City Centre, 5 mins. drive .We have 4 Bridge Clubs where I play Bridge with friendly people. I live so close to the Beach, thus I am able to walk down to the beach every morning for an early swim. I love to walk on the cliff and mountain paths and also watch whales in season (June to December). A trly unforgettable experience!
I live so near the beach and take a swim in the ocean just about every mornng at 7am. I love to hike along the cliff paths and mountain Trails.,watching Wales in season! I also play Bridge with lost of friens at the Bridge Clubs.
This is the quiet subarb called Voêlklip. - meaning BIRD ROCK after the rocks on the beach of Voêlkilp, The hiking trails along the mountains and in the nearby Nature reserve are visited daily by many hikers. Also the cliff paths along the coast for hiking and whale watching. The Golf club is 3 min drive away,the centre of town 5min drive.
