Very nice authentic chalet in perfect setting, overlooking a small lake with wildlife on the other side. Perfectly decorated and super clean, with all amenities. The breakfast served by Justine is marvelous. We really have enjoyed this place. We also had a nice jeep tour with Paul.

3* accommodation but a 5* experience. The view overlooking the waterhole, seeing the various game visiting it and grazing was fabulous. We had the 2 bedroom for just 2 of us but for 2 couples sharing it'd be perfect as the bedrooms are separate, one "in" the home, the other attached. We spent most of the time on the deck though or in the wood fired hot tub, which was a lovely relaxing experience both in the day and in the evening. We also went out on the (extra cost) game drive, which was informative and nice to meet the husband (or staff, as we jokingly referred to him as) Although everything is there to self cater, we chose to eat out most nights and there are a few options, 10 to 15 minutes drive away. Finally, we were granted a late check out which really helped us in our onward journey and meant we were able to enjoy another morning on the deck admiring the view.

The lodge sits on the edge of the watering hole with a variety of animals visiting daily. The property is very well equipped, with a wood fired hot tub for a relaxing end to the day. The game drive with Paul made our stay.

The owners are very friendly and happy to help with anything you need. The place is beautiful and overlooks the water where you can see some of the animals come down to drink. The place is well equipped and they even gave us a bottle of wine on arrival which was a nice touch. Lovely and quiet, great for a relaxing stay. Would recommend the game drive to learn about the farm and what they do there.

The view was stunning, close to Botlierskop, we enjoyed watching the buffalos and the monkeys from our terrace and we loved the hottub!! The hosts are so sweet and caring! Wonderful stay!! The pictures don't do justice to this place!

Great views and good facilities - we enjoyed cooking dinner al fresco while listening to the lions! Great drive around the farm and excellent location to take advantage of Botlierskop as well. We had a great time!

We loved our stay here. It is a very special, beautiful place - a perfect oasis that we were hoping for - and still convenient to everything on the coast (we went to Mossel Bay a few times in our visit). The owner, Luistine, was very accommodating and the cabin had great WiFi (as I needed to fit in a work call). The animals were a bonus (even saw some buffalo that we did not see on our safari!) the wood fired hot tub took some effort and time but was brilliant (and worth it even on a rainy evening). High recommend and great value for money! Thank you!

Breakfast was lovely and the host was very accommodating with the breakfast times. We enjoyed making own braai for the first time and also the hot tub was a plus. It was very quiet and peaceful. The kitchen was very well equipped even with an air fryer.
