Featuring a restaurant serving traditional Carinthian cuisine, Landhaus Gritschacher is 4 km from the centre of Spittal an der Drau and just a 2-minute walk from the Teurnia Roman Museum. Free WiFi is available.

Our historic house is located directly on the B100 along which the Drau cycle path (R1) and the Alpe-Adria cycle path lead.

The location is ideal for Alpe-Adria Radweg cyclist. The owners are extremely kind and nice and willing to help with information and everything. The food was excellent. Breakfast was amazingly rich and the choice of different types of food - mostly made by owners from the locally produced ingredients and is eco-fiendly. E-bike storage is available with charging units. Leberknödelsuppe and all sorts of savory or sweet dumplings/raviolli/nudeln are to be tasted.

I stayed here because it's exactly between 2 mountain passes. First of all, the staff is quite good and helpful people. They don't speak English at all, but you can easily communicate and understand each other. They always smile and help you :) The breakfast is quite good, also the dinner is very tasty, There's an a la carte menu and everything I tasted was good.
