The hospitality shown was second to none. The Govenor Edd, his wife Jacqui and Sarah the chef were just perfect. Just how I had imagined an old pub in the Yorkshire Dale's.

Peaceful tranquil place to come and let your mind escape. Three generations of the same family own and look after the property, which was very unique inside, having been renovated by a prominent London architect in the 1970s. They made me feel beyond welcome, I felt as if I had met them before. A very special place, not your generic BnB, it has history and stories to tell plus abundant wildlife. It is miles from any busy main roads or towns, and next to Malham Tarn, a large high altitude fresh water lake. Has a resident tawny owl with chicks and cheeky foxes. Plenty of walks, situated within walking distance to Malham cove and Settle.

The Falcon Inn is still as memorable as it was when we stayed there over 10 years ago. The fact that it has still kept its old world charm is a credit to the people who run it. We had a very enjoyable stay and hope to be back soon.

The breakfast was nice and the food we had the previous night was lovely. It is a lovely little place in a tiny village. The staff were very friendly. The memorabilia throughout the Inn was fantastic. The rooms were comfortable.

The Falcon was a wonderful find. The location is perfect for exploring the Dales. Our room was very comfortable with a four poster bed and ensuite shower room. We had a table by the fire for dinner - the food was great, I'm vegetarian and the vegetarian pie was really good. The staff were great, really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was between 8.30 and 9am which is admittedly slightly earlier than we'd get up on a Sunday, but breakfast was delicious with everything freshly cooked and it meant we packed more into the day!

Proper little time capsule is the Falcon Inn, welcoming staff and log fire in the back snug, Tim Taylor's Boltmaker from a jug and the village green for a picture-postcard vista. I actually enjoy not having a TV in the room, it means I can read my book. Properly-cooked full English breakfast served in the dining room.

The breakfast was great - they cooked whatever we asked for. The dinner was basic but good pub food and plenty of it! The location was gorgeous. It had obviously been recently decorated and refurbished.
