The Bowling Green Inn is peacefully located in between fields. Upon arrival you are welcomed and provided with all necessary info. Diner was exceptionally good and tastefull! Rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean, We spend only 1 night there but it was just perfect! A place I definately recommend.

I stayed at the Vernon the night before my wedding and they were most helpful. All the bridesmaids and myself were able to use the whole of the pub to get our makeup and hair done which was amazing and Lizzy who was amazing making sure myself and all the bridesmaids had drinks and enough to eat ,She Couldn't have done any more to help us She was amazing She even picked us up from our venue as we forgot our key and took us back to the Vernon it was about 2:30 in the morning. Darren was great. He cooked breakfast for us all and even people who weren't staying there. I would recommend this place so much. It really made my day very special. The rooms were clean, comfortable and perfect for a wedding as we had the whole of the top floor to get ready. But in the end we used the pub which was so kind of them to let us. It seemed not to be a problem at all

Everything went well, from the first pint of Butty Bach when we arrived, the excellent breakfasts and the man who helped us with getting our luggage to the car. The place itself was quite charming and well situated in the town.
