Small but well presented comfortable standard double room. Very dog friendly and it was easy to get outside with the dog when needed. Food ( dinner and breakfast) was delicious with good choice without the menu being too large. Attractive village location.

I was in the "cottage" and could have stayed a week!! It had a huge double bed, a nice sized bathroom with bath and shower, a kitchenette with all facilities for cooking or making breakfast, and a huge lounge with very comfy sofa. Breakfast was included and I could choose from various hot options plus there was yogurt. I had dinner as an extra and the cottage pie and greens were excellent. Staff were extremely helpful, attentive and friendly. Excellent value for money.

Wonderful location and excellent breakfast and dinner. Well trained staff. Dog friendly with a huge garden to walk around. We have since learnt that the hotel is closing and is up for sale, so things have been run down. Such a shame.

Food was tasty. Stayed one night for dinner, but as the menu is the same every night was not worth eating again. Careful of the service charge, by law it is optional, I got it taken off.
