Ubytování je vzdálené jen 2 minuty jízdy od vlakového nádraží Aesch. Gasthof Mühle nabízí restauraci se zahradní terasou. Room was good, bed was comfie, close to transport.

Landgasthof Farnsburg se nachází v Ormalingenu a nabízí pokoje s výhledem na okolní kopcovitou krajinu, louky a lesy. V restauraci se podávají čerstvé místní produkty. This one was a surprise. I didn’t realize it was so far from Basel when I booked. Probably would’ve stayed closer to the city but it was an interesting experience. You’re out in the country! There’s a working farm on the property with bison. It’s off the beaten path but beautiful with hiking trails. Our room with a view was big with comfortable bedding and a thick robe for going to the shared bathrooms. Nice patio with a view and elegant dining room. We rented a car to get there.

Landgasthof Hirschen se nachází v Diegtenu, u dálnice A2 a půl hodiny jízdy od centra Basileje. Nabízí à la carte restauraci. Outstanding dinner, extraordinary friendly staff. Cozy atmosphere.

Gasthof zur Saline se nachází v průmyslové oblasti Pratteln-Schweizerhalle, pouhých 150 metrů od přístavu Schweizerhalle v Rheinu. Nabízí bezplatné parkování a dobré spojení do Basileje. Lovely staff, lovely place. I chose it because it was the cheapest option with a private bathroom I could find in Pratteln - turns out it was a good choice. The lady at the check in was very nice and helpful. The place is beautiful, with gorgeous flowers at the windows outside. The hallway going to the room looks pretty and cozy. The room was wonderful - clean, practical and tastefully decorated. There's a safe deposit box, a mini fridge if you need to store fruit or something, a cosmetic mirror in the bathroom. The WiFi was excellent and you had the possibility to charge your devices via USB or power outlet right next to the bed. There's a busy street outside, but the window does a good job of keeping the noise out when you close it. It's pretty close to the Z7, which is very convenient if you want to see a concert there. Pretty close to a couple of stores. There's also some kind of chocolate factory nearby, so the air in the area smells like chocolate at times (tip: there's nice chocolate at a very good price to be found at the factory store). Maybe not the best location for other purposes like sightseeing though.
