From the minute we arrived to the minute we left there was a warm inviting atmosphere. The owners and staff were lovely.. The room was well decorated and spotlessly clean. We had all the facilities we required. The bed was comfortable which added to having a good night's sleep. We eat there on both nights as the food was of such good quality and staff were very efficient and friendly.

Lovely little b&b staff fantastic and very friendly room was great modern very comfortable bed big modern bathroom.Great continental breakfast served in the room with plenty of variety. The evening meal in the restaurant was great the best fish and chips ever would definitely stay again

The Forest Lodge is an event venue and 18th century pub located in Edwinstowe, 320 metres from beautiful Sherwood Forest and next to St Mary's Church which is a historic Grade I listed parish church... On arrival we were met by a friendly, pleasant and helpful lady named Bev. The decor was fabulous and looked beautiful and was very clean. After a chat we were advised to book a taxi with a return journey to and from the venue we were attending 6 or so miles away. We were given a local taxi number to phone and then shown to our room. A nice start to a lovely stay at The Forest Lodge. The next morning after a good nights sleep in a comfy bed in a quiet room, we went for breakfast and were shown to our table by another friendly member of staff. The breakfast was a good choice of items from cereal and toast to yogurts and pastries with juices as well as tea and coffee. We chose The Lodge Grill from the menu it was well cooked, presented and was good quality ingredients and was really appreciated. On our check out we had another chat with Bev, she asked if we'd had a good night at the venue and if we'd had a good stay at The Forest Lodge, we both agreed we'd had a great stay and would definitely recommend staying here and said if we were coming to the venue again that we would book The Forest Lodge immediately. Great stay, great quality and super staff. Thank you.

Super recommended, very nice team, location and overall place!

Situated in the Nottinghamshire village of Sutton-on-Trent, this 200-year-old inn offers pub accommodation just off the A1. Lovely hosts and staff. Food excellent. Nice location and a couple of minutes to a quaint village. Easy transport links. Would definitely visit again.

Set in Misson, 18 km from Eco-Power Stadium, Angel Inn Misson offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Lovely little pub friendly staff , friendly locals pool table even entertainment on sat night .. Food was exceptional.❤️ Loved the fish in saffron batter 😋. Hubby loved the gammon that much he had it 2 nights running.outside space for kids swing ball area to run around big carpark . Parking right next to room . .Room was good size,, extremely clean good selection of extras too .Table provided out side room if you are a smoker or just want to watch the sun come over top of church first thing in morning ....or see the moon shining over the top of the church on a clear night . Great value for money ... We will return 😁😁😁😁😁😁.Thank you so much for a lovely stay 👍👍👍👍👍👍 When researching village it had been there since 1086 want to go back and explore some more .
