I really liked the design of the rooms, everything was clean. We had everything we needed. Water, coffee and tea and delicious cookies. The bathroom was really modern with a rainshower. Ian and his wife were really nice. The breakfast was perfect as well, we had a buffet, but we could also choose toast or porridge etc.

Set in the historic market town of Chipping Sodbury, 18 miles from the centre of Bristol, The Portcullis is a 17th century pub that was fully renovated in 2017 and has easy links to the M5 and M4... Staff were wonderful and location too. Beds comfortable and they offered a continental breakfast which was unexpected.
