Set in León, 1.5 km from Leon´s cathedral, La Hospedería León offers accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The property is very very clean and super modern. The rooms are immaculate and very comfortable. We absolutely loved the roof terrace with a great view of the whole city. The breakfast is so good and the staff is great and super friendly 😀

Located in San Miguel de Allende and with Church of St. Michael the Archangel reachable within 600 metres, Las Terrazas provides a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a terrace. The owner is a "retired" Oregonian who has turned a dream of a house on the most beautiful hill of San Miguel de Allende into a paradise hotel. The beauty of the place alone is worth the stay. INternet was superb, but because I work with it, he was kind to provide me with a second service just in case this one went down (it did not!). Breakfast was fabulous, the room had absolutely everything one needs including a private chimney. The walk to town is amazing (a few blocks) and as it is on a hill, it provides a good exercise (I am 72!). The owner and his wife, of course, speaks perfect English and Americans will feel right at home. Even the TV was set up with the US channels. Pretty amazing!

Set in a typical rustic-style building at the top of an uphill street, and boasting a garden, Casa Azul is situated in Guanajuato, 400 metres from La Paz Square. This is the Most Unique place I have ever stayed at. The room was huge and filled with art, pottery, and stuff. I had both Dali and Botero prints in my space. Speaking of spaces you must take in the Terrace with all the hummingbirds. The view is incredible. The lady that runs the home is very special and helpful. It’s a Must Stay.

Because it is a small Boutique Hotel, the attention from the host and staff is 6+ star. More like an Art Hotel, we liked the collection of art and the eye for details in all corners of the hotel and room. One of the best stays we had in Mexico.

Las Alamedas provides rooms in Guanajuato near Alhondiga de Granaditas Museum and The Alley of the Kiss. All rooms feature a TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. The room was big and the bathroom was very nice. The super comfortable bed was a highlight. The price and the location were also great

Located 10 minutes’ walk from central Miguel de Allende, Casa Carly offers colourful Mexican-style suites with free Wi-Fi. it was comfortable and pretty. Very closed to the historic center. The security was excellent.

Set in León and within less than 1 km of Leon´s cathedral, Hostería Casa Miranda Marquez features a terrace, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. Really enjoyed the garden terrace and the little cozy room helped me to feel at home. I was able to do yoga and breathwork in the comfort of my room and the check in process was pretty easy.

Casa 86 is set in San Miguel de Allende, within 12 km of Sanctuary of Atotonilco and 1.2 km of Chorro´s trip. The property is close to Allende´s Institute, The view point and Benito Juarez Park. The location is great, right in the centre close to the main square and nice cafes and restaurants. The rooms are basic but enough for a few days to explore the town. Rooms are clean and mine was cool enough without airco. I first had a downstairs room that I found too dark and moved to an upstairs room that I like more and that had more daylight. The bed and shower were good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Gracias!
