We only stayed for one night, but we really enjoyed it. The beautiful garden with a pool was delightful. If we had more time, we would have stayed longer. Highly recommended.

I loved Casa Gajah’s close proximity to the miles-long uninterrupted beach, just a short 1 block walk away. I enjoyed long walks on the beach, watching the sunrise, and collecting shells (the beach is the most amazing beach for shelling that I’ve ever encountered -I came home with lots of “treasures”, lol). The owner Federico is a friendly soul who makes guests immediately feel welcome and like family, and his sweet and kind assistant King is also very helpful. The on-site dog Spartacus (“Sparta”) is such a gem -so well behaved, respectful and sweet. I appreciated the positive energy in the hotel, and enjoyed the special design touches throughout, such as the bathroom design and color in my room. The Italian restaurant a short walk from the hotel is not to be missed -delicious food and pasta made from scratch. I enjoyed my stay at Casa Gajah so much that I ended up extending for another night! It’s an amazing value for your stay!

Loved the details in the room and the space- it really felt like a different world from Valladolid, but was so close and walkable. The staff were incredibly nice and responsive, and the filtered water in the lobby was icing on the cake.

Rarely does a property exceed our expectations - but this one really impressed us - the buildings are super nice, the grounds well maintained. We stayed in the apartment with our family of 4 adults. The beds were comfortable. The pool clean and the perfect refreshing temp (and cleaned thoroughly every morning!). The coffee at breakfast was some of the best drip coffee we've had so far. The bedrooms each had air conditioning that worked perfect, plus extra furniture for clothing. The small details like extra-nice windows (and lots of them) for natural light in the apartment, and a fully functioning kitchen with a working gas stove (another first for us). The whole place feels safe, warm and comfortable. I saw some negative comments about the town of Sacalum but we enjoyed the town. I will write - it is a typical town, with many friendly people who will smile and wave when you greet them. It's the first town where kids shouted out "Hola!" to us as we were walking around. The town centre has a big fresh food market and certain evenings there are people selling fresh cooked food. We enjoyed the town and 100% would stay here again. There is a nice corner store 1/2 block away with everything you need. Also a cold beer store with fair prices and good service. BONUS - Our son is a musician/ singer and the acoustics in the apartment were amazing!! If you feel like singing :) 10/10 would happily stay again.

Casa Coronado Izamal — это мини-гостиница в городе Исамаль. К услугам гостей сад. На территории есть всесезонный открытый бассейн. Great location, walkable to town and right next to the ruins/pyramid. Wifi was decent compared to other places we stayed at ! Staff was very friendly, rooms were very spacious and clean. Looks like they are doing some renovations too, so they clearly upkeep the place!
