Beautiful small town in a very scenic area. Several good restaurants and an excellent vegetarian cafe. Awesome hiking and skiing, both alpine and cross country. Close to Schladming for anything else you might need.

Ramsau is amazing, beautiful scenery, many restaurants and attractions, especially for kids. The local Erlebnisbad (aquacenter) is amazing, nearby Rittisberg is absolutely wonderful for kids. Many lifts closeby within a short driving distance, the Dachstein main lift basically right in Ramsau.

Very good location with plenty of choices if you like hiking, ferrata (klettersteig in Germain), running, or skiing. I stayed here with 10year old daughter and we could find lots of activities together and she liked it as I did.

we went to this area because we want to visit the Dachstein Glacier! if u want to visit it u need to book your Gondola seat (ascent and descent) at this website https://www.derdachstein.at for an extra it is possible to visit also the ice palace! it is very interesting! inside u can find many ice sculptures! but pay attention because if u want to visit it u need to cross the suspended bridge! and if you suffer from vertigo ... but it is a unique experience!!!RaffaellaItaly - 10Scored 10

During our stay, we visited Rittisberg coaster, Silberkar watterfalls and finally magnificient Dachstein. It was all great, lots of hiking trails. Several restaurants with excellent typical austrian food, but kitchen closes usually at 20.30h latest. Stunning panorama when good weather, amazing views onto Dachstein mountain. Plenty of walking and hiking tours available, including climbing. Prices are comparable to Germany, so not a cheap location but worth the money.AlfSpain

The apartment is very comfortable, very good equipped. Lydia was so warm and helpful, on the arrival provided with maps and plenty of information on hikes, restaurants and was always available for any question. We wanted to stay somewhere close to the hiking area and location was really good. We also wanted to stay in a place which is different than just a crowded hotel. Their place is a working farm, they have cows, chickens, alpakas. Here you eat and drink bio products from their farm and everything tasts delicious. They make their owm cheese yogurt, bread. Eggs from their hens are served for breakfasts which were great by the way. I also recommend dinner where was bufet and served meal too. There is paid cross-country ski route next to the hotel which wasn´t adjusted too well but this wasn´t mistake from hotel. We will be glad to return here even in the summer.JirrriCzech Republic

The host is amiable and helpful, very warm welcome and problem-solving. Fantastic breakfast! I did to have a chance to stay long in the room, but when I finally got to it, it was calm, and warm, with the hot water.
