stayed for the second time and again everything was great! amazing modern design of the whole hotel, lots of art pieces that were nice to look at, convenient parking organized by the hotel, very helpful staff, exquisite a la carte breakfast and a relaxed atmosphere. and Graz itself is beautiful.

Everything. It was exactly what we needed, 100% as advertised and even more. Clean, comfortable room, easy check in/out, nice restaurant - and they were so welcoming to our dog, which is not always common at hotels. So impressed and grateful. For us it was a stop on a road trip so location close to the highway was ideal. Thank you to the staff for all their kindness.

We had an outstanding stay. The hotel is simply marvelous, with great attention to interior design in common areas. We were offered an upgrade at a very convenient fare and were promptly moved to a better room. After checking in you can already enjoy the thermal baths, but what's great is that also after the check out you can stay the whole day in the public area! Please consider this when booking, it's such an asset. Breakfast and dinner were very tasty and well presented, at dinner, we tried both meat and fish. Welcome drinks and goodbye souvenirs for hosts are a nice touch and overall, the whole staff is friendly and eager to help: - I asked the receptionist for slippers which I hadn't packed and immediately got them - On the first night I called the reception and was provided with additional different pillows for better sleep - Towels and robes can be changed at any time at the public thermal bath reception - We asked for a transfer to the train station and got it free of charge Special mention to the bartender, we tried Negroni and Moscow Mule and they were both remarkable. Also, the resort is 5 min close to a nice local family-managed vinery where you can have lunch at - Weinhof Buschenschank Pieber. Amazing food and wines, great prices. We'll definitely come back!

The staff were amazing. It is a family business, and it is run with love. The young couple who run the hotel and the wine business are extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. We took a wine tasting and the knowledge of the host was very strong and informative. We bought a lot of very pleasant wine as a result. The views from the hotel (rooms and restaurant) are beautiful. The spa facilities were a lovely relief after a hard day's cycling. The food in the restaurant was prepared carefully and thoughtfully and was tasty. Excellent breakfasts.

The view from the infinity swimming pool is really amazing. I’ve never experienced anything more luxurious feeling. Plus they’ve got bottles of wine and glasses available in the pool/spa area at a good price offered via an honour system. A nice idea! Otherwise the hotel offered excellent food (loved the veggie burger) had super nice staff and dining on the terrace for dinner and breakfast was truly lovely! Plus a really excellent breakfast selection! <3 Kaiserschmarren included!! Plus a room upgrade. So absolutely a top location!

We had a fantastic stay at Falkensteiner in Schladming. The hotel looks even better in person than in the photos. The wellness area is amazing, and the food with our half board exceeded all expectations. Really amazing breakfast selection! Every staff member was extremely polite and helpful. A special highlight was the Herbstcard, which gave us free access to the cable car and several local attractions. Highly recommended!

It's a wonderful, artsy, lively town with an abundance of...

It's a wonderful, artsy, lively town with an abundance of things to do and see. We prioritised seeing Schlossberg and the clock tower, the Kunsthaus and spent a whole day at Eggenberg palace. The thing we liked most was a guided tour of Eggenberg palace and just roaming the surrounding grounds and gardens afterwards. There's also a gallery in the palace that houses a lovely collection of classical artwork that is definitely worth checking out. The view atop Schlossberg can't be matched, so it's worth the climb. We ate at Ginko, had some delicious coffe at Tribeka and ended our evening at Ginger Art with some cocktails.

Amazing ski resort - the slopes are of incredibly high quality, lifts are modern and maintained to an excellent degree, and there is a huge choice of slopes - the ski pass includes five different areas, and you can even drive to Flachau and ski there as well. There is a bus that you can take to all the different locations in case you don't want to drive, and some of the ski areas are also connected by lifts. Unfortunately we went in early March, when the temperatures were really high - I saw 14 degrees on one slope! This didn't make for a great skiing experience in the afternoon as the snow was melting into a slush, so I'd recommend anyone going in early March to get half day passes and ski in the morning until lunchtime, then relax in the sauna or one of the many apres-ski bars.

they canceled my stay without giving a reason. I wanted to fulfill his son's dream for his birthday. I don't understand this behavior. I have to sell tickets to the circuit now and I have other costs involved that I will claim in court!

Leoben is a small, pretty town.

Leoben is a small, pretty town. My hotel Gastof Zum Grief had a superb location, literally 2 minutes from the main square and right by the river. It’s easy to walk around Leoben which has many bars and restaurants in and off the main square. Lovely country walks by the river and also a shopping centre in the main square. I ate in San Marco, Trattoria Roma, Zum Greif, Stadt Meierei,and Schwarzer Adler - all very good.

There are also two spa in the village. H2O is visited by many families with children. We preferred the Heilthermen. Here you could really relax in peace and quiet. There are also nice castles nearby (e.g. Herberstein) which are worth a visit.

Very beautiful place to spend a few days or even more than a week. Plenty things to do - hiking, spa relax, good restaurants, beautiful sceneries. In Bad Aussee there are several places to eat or buy groceries. Whithin a few minutes you reach a lake to swim or a beginning of a hiking path. Good position for visiting Hallstadt, Bad Ischl or Salzburg. If you want to have dinner in a restaurant it is good to make a reservation otherwise you may have a problem to get seats.

I recommend the '6-Seen-Wanderung' tour on the Tauplitzalm to everyone. Beautiful! The braver ones can take a dip in the cool lakes. Nearby is Hallstadt's iconic lake with its church. Mozart's birthplace - Salzburg can also be discovered within easy reach. I recommend the sightseeing boat tour to everyone. In Bad Aussee, the salt bath of the Narzissen Vital Resort provides real refreshment. It is a very special experience to hide in the coolness of one of the salt mines in the heat. I also recommend the special library of Admont Benedictus Abbey. Also, for fathers with sons, the Lotus Museum in Bad Aussee.

absolutely stunning in the winter, everything was covered in snow when we went at the end of December. Also would be beautiful in summer by the lake. some nice restaurants near by around Grundlsee and the tourist information office was very helpful and she spoke good English. the lake is huge so takes a while to go round. there were very few English tourists in the area, so knowing a bit of German helped. the frozen lake nearby by was also a great find. we went tobogganing at Loser near Bad Aussee which had great views from the top. the buffet style food at the JUFA hotel in Grundlsee was great so you don't have to wait for food if you have hungry children. also drove through Halstatt which is a very popular tourist destination, not that impressed just lots of buses/people and no space or parking.

Graz is interesting city with good traffic.

Graz is interesting city with good traffic. If you saw everything already its worth to discover the small towns and countryside around it. There are lots of mountains, monasteries, castles, churches and other historical places in the hillside. Bruck an der Mur was reallly nice and the church of Maria Straßengel close to judendorf/straßengel train station too.

Schladming is a great location for skiing/snowboarding and...

Schladming is a great location for skiing/snowboarding and the restaurants, both in town and on the mountains, serve good food at reasonable prices (for ski resorts). Train transfers are easy from larger cities (we came in from Salzburg) and the buses are frequent and convenient for moving up and down the valley. If you want variety in your ski experience then you can't do better than basing yourself in Schladming.
