Go. To. Tre Cime. Worth every penny of 30€ and more... beautiful! Start at rifugio auronzo and hike anywhere. Really. There ar hits along the way and well marked paths. Stay at hotel Sorapiss. It is positioned next to Lake Misurina in a picturesque location. Our apartment had a lovely view of the mountains. Ida (the Manager) was friendly and helpful. We thought it was excellent value for money and would definitely recommend.

Everything was comfortable and clean. The staff were very helpful as they would check on how we were doing and offered to help carry my large suitcase upstairs as there was no elevator. Close to the Lake Sorapis. Nice view from the window (Lake Misurina). Good restaurants and grocery shop nearby. Fully equipped apartment with living room, kitchen, two bedrooms and bathroom. Free parking place.

The location is really fantastic if you want to do the Tre Cime di Lavaredo hike, as the toll checkpoint is about 3 minutes drive away. Also very close to Lake Misurina, which is beautiful too. The breakfast was delicious and the room was nice and clean.

The view at the Tres Cimes straight from the window / balcony is breathtaking. The bus stop up the mountains is in walking distance, and so is lake Misurina. Well thought though integrated shop which serves sandwiches for takeaway lunch, so an ideal choice when going for a hike. While the room is just barely big enough for two, the bathroom is.

The restaurant serves delicious food. It's just a short 20 min drive to Rifugio Auronzo which is a good launching point for hiking Tre Cime. Lago di Braies is 40 mins away. The lake itself is beautiful and there are many local hikes. There is on-site parking that is blocked by poles weighed down by tires. You just have to roll the pole/tire out of the way so you can enter their private parking.
