We booked 6 nights in December at the Raja Ampat Eco Lodge. The lodge was fantastic! The bungalows are spacious, clean and beautifully appointed with a very comfortable bed, seating and dining areas and nice lighting. While there isn't air conditioning, the breeze coming from the sea and the large quiet fan made it easy to sleep at night despite warm temperatures. We didn't have any issues with mosquitoes or other bugs either. The food was delicious and varied each day. We loved the fresh juices, curries and vegetables. The house beach is beautiful and the reef has a good variety of fish. We even saw an octopus a couple of times! The owners are lovely and the service provided by the team is professional and kind.

TABARI DIVE LODGE se nachází v destinaci Pulau Mansuar a má restauraci, sdílenou kuchyň, bar, zahradu, terasu, venkovní gril a výhled na moře. Brigitte and Gef are lovely people who did everything to make our stay pleasant. The food was delicious and varied. The cabins are beautiful and well maintained. There is no air conditioning in the cabins on the island and the humidity must be 100 percent and hot... there is electricity in the evenings and sometimes in the mornings. The dives were really good. I recommend taking a close personal diving guide because the currents are very strong in the water and it is difficult to dive even for those who have a lot of diving experience.

Just enjoyed six nights at Aldejus, diving each day with Tarzan Diving. Aldejus is a lovely homestay with friendly staff and excellent service. There are en suite western bathrooms with hot and cold running water - unusual for the area - good beds, fans and power from 6pm to 6am. Food is excellent and quite varied with fish, chicken, vegetables, fruit and more. The staff will make packed lunches on request for all-day trips. Cold beer and soft drinks are available but do bring anything else you want to drink e.g. sugar free soda and tonic water both of which are difficult to source in Papua. The island itself and Friwen village are quiet and peaceful, and pleasant to walk around. The friendly owner will help arrange transport from Sorong airport and various other activities during your stay e.g. snorkeling, birdwatching etc
