Lovely, tucked away, clean welcoming property, comfiest bed EVER! Lots of little extras left for guests, thank you! Very short stroll into town, easy to park up and leave the car for the weekend. Great comms with the hosts. Tip to next guests, if eating Sunday lunch, The Bruce Arms Yorkshire pudds are to die for, Kings Head's are sad soft frozen Aunt Bessie's type. Recommend the 2 brewery trips, walking along the river, and The Border House Cafe. Looking forward to staying again :)

Fabulous Continental breakfast provided in our room so we could have it when we wanted. We arrived very late and missed the last orders at the local pub so our host very kindly brought us something to eat. Nothing was too much trouble. The location is wonderful - there's plenty of places to visit in the area and lovely walks from the property if you don't want to go out in the car.

Owners lived next door and went well out of their way to be friendly and helpful to the extreme .Spotlessly keen large very comfortable double beds . Well equipped kitchen with induction hob, fridge and separate freezer . The garden was secluded with lots of sunshine .
