The property was set back, private in its own space with a fenced garden - ideal if you are taking a dog. It was well-maintained and clean. It was cosy and comfortable and had most of the things needed. Within easy walk of the centre of Sheringham (nice places to eat and friendly service) and the beach. Lovely trails in each direction for our longer dog walks.

Avocet Cottage was modern and spotless. Towels were provided which was a great help as we travelled by train and didn’t want to bring too much luggage. The location was excellent! It was Close to the beach , high street and train station. We were pleased with everything. The only thing I would point out is the steps leading up to the front door may be tricky for some people.

Absolutely amazing, superb location, outstanding views, 2 min stroll to the sea front, 1 minute stroll to the surrounding countryside and a 5 min walk into Sheringham town. Couldn’t want for anything more.

The property has a sea view and it was delightful to watch the sun rise through the windows.The property was well equipped, and was well situated for easy access to both the local facilities and access to the beach. the property is also situated on a National trail and as walkers we completed an 11 mile walk to Blakeney from the front door.
