It was so very peaceful. The dinner was absolutely superb in every way from presentation to delectable taste. The breakfast was without a doubt unforgettable in that the croissant just melted in your mouth, and the orange juice was freshly squeezed. The staff was also so accommodating, personal touches!

Quietly situated, Mountain View Guesthouse is an Irish Tourist Board approved family-run 4-star guest house. The owner met us in person. She was very friendly and nice, and gave a lot of hints as to what we can see in the region and where we can eat. The beds were comfy. We had a private parking and good breakfast.

Offering a garden and inner courtyard view, Clifden Wildflower Cottage - Clifden Countryside Lettings is located in Clifden, 19 km from Kylemore Abbey and 34 km from Maam Cross. Lovely little cottage. We only stayed one night, but would have gladly stayed longer. It is clear that they care about their guests. They left some milk, scones in the oven, and fresh eggs. Some books and night light for my little girls. Kitchen had what we needed. They have a cot. Gave clear instructions on how to find it.
