I have stayed in many hotels/motels/boutiques for business and vacations, and this Holiday Inn Express bested all the others in cleanliness, efficient and friendly staff, EXCEPTIONAL free breakfast, very comfortable beds, and a spacious room.

We were surprised to see a motel type layout but the room was very quiet and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful and we had a coffee maker ( with extra supplies readily available in the office), microwave and a fridge. We also appreciated the fact that there were 2 chairs to sit on.

Lively & Fun area, this treasured spot is a good bargain. Rocking chairs outside motel cabin allowed a breather outside small room. Staff there to keep linens fresh & white towels provided with cleaning service daily. No breakfast, but coffee & cookies was good. Location fantastic, and parking is free (small lots, but much needed in Blowing Rock if you have your vehicle.)

Nicely remodeled older motel. Comfortable bed & pillows. Super friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location for walking to all around downtown Blowing Rock. Suggestion info for surrounding food, drinks, shopping, and activities very helpful. Gazebo w/ rockers and firepit w/ Adirondack chairs. A/C good for hot summer temps. Bathtub was so welcome after all day driving & hiking!

Blowing Rock in was a charming motel. I loved the wicker chairs outside. It was exceptionally spacious for a motel and it had an exceptionally good coffee setup. We wanted trout for dinner and they recommended a trout restaurant nearby that had a New York quality dinner for way less money.
