The hotel itself has an above average quality for the price, everything was very clean and tidy and the staff was very helpful. We had a few special requests and they were very accommodating. The neighborhood is very industrial, we had a view on several wharf cranes from our room. For us, it added to the experience, but it is definitely not a typical romantic place. The cranes didn't not operate and didn't make noise and the hotel was overall quite silent. Metro, train and bus is very well reachable (don't follow Google Maps, but take the shortcut).

This very spacious apartment, in a historic building was superb with 2 beautiful balconies looking out over the river by the fountain. The furnishings and fittings very high quality. The apartment was also well equipped and had an excellent kitchen, bathroom and shower. Superb location near Vizcaya/Bizkaia Bridge, only 100mtrs from train station for the 20 min trip into centre of Bilbao. There are some lovely walks on both sides of the river as well as many tapas bars shops and other amenities. Our host was very helpful and quick to respond to any queries.
