A wooden building stemming from 100 years ago, the property breathes a historical atmosphere. It was so beautiful! It is a bit remote, but thats exactly what we liked about it! It lies in a nice valley, that in december was a bit snowy. Ofcourse, the very traditional building was so sophisticated and beautiful, but even though it felt such high end (and it is!), we felt comfortable there. It was easy to relax, the Onsen are amazing and beautiful. Very kind staff as well, they spoke english. The food was exceptional as well. One of us was vegetarian, we let them know beforehand and it was no problem. Would recommend at least 2 night stays. The price for the value you get is exceptional.
