Although it's near a traffic junction, there isn't any traffic noise. 4. View from the room & restaurant is spectacular. 5. love the rain shower as well as the big tub. 6. Sumptuous breakfast that we didn't get hungry until dinner time. 7. The host, friendly and accommodating.

Located in Nikko, 2.8 km from Tobu Nikko Station, Gableview Forest Inn ゲーブルビュー features accommodation with a hot spring bath, a public bath and an open-air bath. We had the loveliest time at the Gableview Forest Inn. Satoshi and Elizabeth are so kind and helped us out hugely during our stay. Satoshi is an AMAZING cook. The food was incredible, so I definitely recommend having dinner at the inn! The room was super comfortable, it was great to have our own little kotatsu and the baths at the inn (both inside and the outside one with the forest view) were divine. If we are ever back in Nikko/Japan we will definitely stay again!

Put a tremendously passionate, dedicated group of people through a world-class Ritz Carlton hospitality training program and you get service that's nothing short of perfection. The hotel grounds are absolutely beautiful, it's facilities (both spa and public onsen) were amazing, and food was thoughtful, delicious, and wholesome. My wife and I could not have asked for more and yearn to be back in the, hopefully, near future.
