Great location, short taxi ride from airport, flight arrived @ 2:30am. Tahia had left the outside light on for us and the room felt cosy when we arrived. We felt welcomed. Tahia even kindly gave us a ride back to the airport the following morning so we could collect our rental car. There is a local bakery that is a short walk down the hill so you can grab some pastries and coffee for breakfast on the run. Awesome place to stay for a short stop.

The host, Mr Thomas was very responsive to my emails and messages as it were my parents traveling with my niece. He picked them from the airport and dropped them early hours of the next day for their flight to Fiji. The location has beautiful and scenic views that were breathtaking. The apartment was spacious, clean, and fully furnished. I’ll definitely book again with them on my next trip. Offering free WiFi, private parking and a garden, the recently renovated property of A TOMO MAI Homestay, offers rooms in Faaa, 3.9 km from Paofai Gardens and 11 km from Museum of Tahiti. This was the highlight of our trip to French Polynesia. The hostess is extremely friendly. Even though the shops were closed, she got us a free dinner. Our room was covered in flowers. Really nice welcome.
