The location is fine -- in an apartment in a vintner's property (there is no shortage of vintners in the area), above a wine cellar in one of the many cute little villages (Niedermorschwihr) on the Route des Vins d'Alsace. The vintner offered wine tastings. (We bought a couple bottles.) The elderly woman who owns the property (Georgette Weinzorn, I believe), was very friendly, and spoke fluent German as well as French. She was as accommodating as possible, providing us with extra towels, and even a bouquet of fresh-cut flowers.

This place is amazing, very clean, spacious, quite and authentic. It's very close to beautiful Vinyards and the small town of Turckheim. I'm pretty sure it will more breathtaking in the summer and fall. Will come back.
