We had such a great time - the apartment is large, clean, quiet, central and well equipped. I really appreciated that the kitchen had some basics (cooking oil etc) which meant I didn’t have to buy everything. Breakfast was very generous and our host, Walter, was very friendly and gave us some great recommendations for places to visit. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Hotel Serena is 300 metres from Dimaro centre and 2 minutes' drive from the Daolasa ski lifts, reached by free ski bus. It offers a large garden a restaurant and free Wi-Fi in the public areas. Just a fantastic place. Amazing service. Kind personnel staff and so easy going. Highly recommend !!!! The staff will always do their best to satisfy their clients. I have came twice and we will be definitely returning again. If in Dimaro, just serena hotel !!!!!! 5*+

At the foot of the Stelvio National Park, Hotel Eccher 3 stelle Superior is in Mezzana, surrounded by the Alps. It offers wellness facilities, free Wi-Fi and free bike rental. It is a well-run hotel in a good location with free shuttle bus to the ski lift, 3 minutes away. The little town has a few local bars, cafes and restaurants.

Set in Malè in Stelvio National Park, Pippo Hotel has a free bus to Madonna di Campiglio ski slopes 8 km away. It features a heated outdoor pool and spa. Each room has a balcony with mountain views. Excellent dinners! Very traditional and authentic Italian food and environment. They weren’t fancy or pretentious dinners, but what you would get if you had an Italian grandmother making a nice dinner for you.

Il Sorriso Dei Nonni is a friendly b&b with free use of the kitchen and of the barbecue facilities in the garden. It is in Val di Rabbi, in the Stelvio National Park. Host was very welcoming and offered us a glass of local apple juice as soon as we arrived from our long trip. Panoramic scene and very close to the Coler area if anyone is planning mountain hiking. We dined at the Paninoteca 800 restaurant in the San Bernardo area (ten minute drive) and food was superb!
