The 4-star Aqua Natura Madeira offers elegant rooms with Atlantic Ocean views in the fishing village of Porto Moniz, 45 km north of Funchal city centre. It offers a sauna on site. The welcome by Joana Perry to start with. This young lady who met us with great kindness and enthusiasm needs to be highly commended for her manner and professionalism. She should train many another receptionists in other hotels who often leave very much to be desired. Our apartment room had a great view over the Natural Pools and was excellently well-equipped. Very comfortable and spacious. All members of staff were extremely kind and were evidently proud to be a part of the Aqua Natura team. Well done to all. A little parting gift of jam was a lovely send off.

Perched on a cliff facing the Atlantic Ocean, this design hotel is within a renovated traditional farmhouse. Beautiful views, friendly and attentive staff, very nice breakfast. We were there at the beginning of January and were able to enjoy the outdoor pool and ocean views. We had a car (which we recommend so you have the freedom to explore the whole island) and there is free parking available below the hotel on the street with a lift up to the hotel. We will definitely book in again if we come back to Madeira.

This restored Madeiran mansion is located 900 metres from Funchal's Old Town and has scenic views of the sea, the city and the mountains from its own botanical gardens and terraces. Nearly everything, really. Nice hotel, nice room, nice people working there, nice breakfast, nice parking, nice patio. I feel that it's worth every dime paid. This was the first and the only case when I truly enjoyed the conversation with a person at the reception who turned out to be a true erudite who is into history and geography.

Amazing apartment, excellent location, just a few minutes from famous market by foot, as same for other locations in Funchal downtown. Very clean and good equipped, plus if you rent a car there is a possibility to park at property location. Also, host Luis always available and very helpful. Don’t think twice to book it.

To Studios by Aqua Natura Hotels βρίσκεται σε Porto Moniz, σε Μαδέρα και σε κοντινή απόσταση από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Piscinas Naturais do Porto Moniz. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Welcoming drinks at the arrival, sparkling wine at the room. Spacious room with huge bed and even bigger pillows. Free access to the natural pools. As pools were too cold for us, we enjoyed the jacuzzi zone on the hotel roof. Breakfast was nice, with many fruit options and a nice view. Good value for money.

Perfect position, with parking across the road and the historical centre within a 15-minute walk, with almost no elevation (essential in Funchal, especially after days full of hiking:) The apartment was equipped with everything we needed (and more) for a most pleasurable stay. The communication with the host was excellent - we had a slight issue with the window blinds, which they solved asap.

We had an amazing stay at this apartment! It was clean and spacious. The location was perfect. Joana, was incredibly communicative and made the check-in process smooth. She was very accommodating throughout our stay. Overall, a fantastic experience!

The beds were comfortable. They had a good kitchen with a stove and oven. The staff maintained the place in clean conditions. Shampoo is provided in the showers. The place is safe. Good common area. Comfortable hammocks outside to relax.
