Watching the sunrise was an amazing experience. The room was clean and smelled amazing. Even the towels smelled so good. I liked their body wash and shampoo too. The staff were friendly and warm.

I loved that place, it is very remote so I would recommend gettin a scooter for 10 dol from Koh Touch or Long Beach at get there with it. It is quite remote so may not be suitable for everyone but it was lovely.

The island is a slice of paradise, pristine beaches, forest, not many people. Cell phone reception is minimal, so a good place to relax and enjoy the ocean. The water is heavenly, you can go snorkeling just off the beach to see a coral reef and there are trails for bush walks. The food is fresh and cooked with care and the atmosphere is really nice. If you're used to western comforts, this is a return back to basics, but totally worth it! Be self sufficient, bring everything you need, also enough cash and live life in your bathing suit!

Located on the beach of Koh Rong in the Sihanoukville Province, The Royal Sands Koh Rong offers luxurious villas with a private beach area and stunning views of the gulf of Thailand. Loved absolutely everything about the property! We booked a sea side villa with private pool and this was the best experience we have had till date. It was my wife’s birthday and they were able to arrange us a lovely table right on the beach with an amazing meal. The staff was super friendly and made the stay even more enjoyable.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was great, very fresh and they accept card. The room had a mosquito net and a place to lock your valuables. Beautiful view from the guest balcony. It does get warm but the fan does a pretty good job to cool you down.

The mosquito net is a bonus as there are quite a lot of sandflies in the area.

I saw in one of the reviews about this property that this is the best resort in the entire Asia; I think that reviewer is right. I am from the Philippines and have gone to a lot of great beaches in our islands, but Saracen did not disappoint. I'd consider going back here. Amazing beach, quiet place.
