The wellness is composed of 2 saunas, which is very nice to make use of after a day of skiing.

Our stay in this hotel was absolutely wonderful! We spent there the New Year and also our anniversary, and we couldn't have done better! This place has everything, rooms are perfect, modern, spacious, with amazing views. Tha spa area is also perfect and the breakfasts are delicious and rich. The whole hotel area is really quiet and perfect designed. It's really close to Zillertal Arena (1 minute by car) which is perfect if you want to ski. Owners and the whole staff are super nice and helpfull! We have certainly not been here for the last time.

In winter only reachable with the chargeable Gerlosstein Cable Car, Berghotel Gerlosstein is located at 5.4 feet above sea level in the Zillertal Alps and offers direct access to the slopes and hiking... This has been one of our best traveling experiences. The location is absoutely amazing with the most beautiful view from the hotel. Rooms were perfectly clean and comfortable, the hotel serves very tasty food and the staff is lovely. We truly hope to be back!

The apartment is in a good location - walking distance from Zillertal Arena, the station and the supermarket. It's on a road with a fair amount of traffic, but it's not bad as it gets pretty quiet at night. The apartment we stayed in had good views of the mountains and a balcony where you could relax. It was well equipped with utensils, plates, glasses etc. and all the rooms had attached bathrooms. The host was very friendly and helpful.

We loved the isolated farm location high above the valley. The top storey apartment was huge and perfectly appointed for a ski stay. The farm animals in the barn are gorgeous and fabulous to visit. A multitude of ski touring and winter walking can be done directly from the door. A free ski bus to Zillertal Arena stops at the start of the driveway several times a day which is great if driving conditions are dicey!
We spent a wonderful New Year's week at this hotel. The staff is very attentive and polite. We arrived late and upon request they kindly brought dinner to our room. The room was large and warm. The spa area is small but very clean. Breakfasts were varied. The dinners were very tasty and beautifully presented. The waterfall and the park around it are beautiful. Zillertal Arena is a wonderful ski area.

The apartment is big enough for 2 people and has all what you need for your comfort stay. The heating is working well, shower is always hot. The ski bus stop is just next to the door. But it brings to the only one mountain of Zillertal area. If you want to ski in all Zillertal arena mountains, either you go by car there, either you travel on skiis through the mountains. The owner speaks english well.

Welcoming host, greeted us warmly on arrival. The apartment was large enough for a family of four adults and one child. It was well equipped with everything needed and was spotlessly clean. The location is right next to Karspitzbahn lift and a couple of hundred meters from Achterbahn - basically the two lifts to access the Zillertal Arena.

Mrs. Luxner was a very friendly and caring host. The view from the apartment is gorgeous. Rooms were clean. The kitchen was fully equipped. Zillertal Arena is very close. Mayrhofen is reachable within 10-15 min by car and is a very nice small town I absolutely recommend visiting. All in all very good experience.

Everything was fantastic. The house has all facilities, it is located near the best ski centers in Austria. The Zillertal Arena and the Wildkogel Arena are amazing. Near the house is a market that offers everything you need. Thank you to the host for an unforgettable winter vacation.

Simply awesome! The hotel is clean and warm. Food is delicious. Hospitality is great. Location, high in the mountain with lovely views, but car is needed. Bus stop to Zillertal arena right in front of the hotel. Short drive to the other ski areas.

This place was truely amazing. The hotel itself looks like a beautiful modern castle a bit outside the city of Gerlos, surrounded by snowy plains and mountains. Rooms are surprisingly big, very modern while having a warm wooden touch, very clean, excellent bathroom facilities. Sauna and Swimmingpool are beautiful. Food was exceptional (!). While breakfast and lunch were buffets with a great variety, also for vegans, Dinner was a 5 course menu a la carte - with quality of a Michelin Starred restaurant. I could write an essay alone about the food. Staff was world class - friendly, approachable, compentent. Milan from the Restaurant staff was an exceptional host. Ski lift to Zillertal Arena is one street crossing away from the main entrance. Perfect. Overall, we felt like in a dream - thus I can confirm the name of this hotel being more than accurate. Travelling a lot around the world using hotels, this is one of the Top3 stays in my life. Thank you to the Hollaus Family for creating this beautiful place.

Storage for skis and ski boots inte the basement, and the Dorfbahn is a 1 minute walk from the entrance to the ski storage. Cozy bar/restaurant in connection to the hotel. Tried out the spa in connection to the hotel.
