Great place to stay! Also with kids and we were there with 3. Overall great place to stay. The spa is awesome so is the breakfast and restaurant menu. We left a day earlier than expected mainly because of the bad weather. We decided this at 3 pm and they offered to cancel the pay for the last day which is quite special. 10 out of 10 for us!

We had the feeling that the people working there, enjoyed their work and life. The parc is beautiful: the old trees, the ponds and the creek gave a very special atmosphere. A specialty seems to be fly-fishing, which was interesting to watch from the distance. The rooms were large and clean and equipped with everything you could ask for. The dinner and the breakfast were very good and we enjoyed our stay a lot.

The staff were friendly and very helpful in relation to parking, troubleshooting and areas of interest.

You may drive right past it without realizing that you're staying there. It's an old French farmhouse, after all, just like all the other French farmhouses you will pass on your long journey up into the mountains of Alsace-Lorraine. I started to wonder if I was on the right track, as my GPS has led me wrong before, but suddenly there it was. If you need entertaining or have ADHD, Paris might be a better bet, but if you need some peace and quiet, like the outdoors and get off on rock walls, piles of firewood, ancient farm buildings and single lane roads, Ban-de-Sept is calling you.
We went to the Lorraine American Cemetary and also the Maginot Line. (Hackenberg Fort). The tour at the Maginot Line was fantastic.

We did not realize the American Lorraine WWII Cemetery was so easy to find. Memorable stop and worth a view minutes to contemplate and show respect.
If you are looking for a cosy, comfortable base from which to ride a bike or explore the area, this place is perfect. I would not recommend the attic room for those with small children or people who are not comfortable with steep stairs. Guests tend to be early to bed types as the activities in this area are biking and walking or visiting villages. Alsatian towns like Kaysersberg, Riquewir and Colmar are about an hour's drive. For the young and young at heart, there is an excellent go-karting place nearby as well as good bike rental places. Biking in this part of Lorraine is great. The hostess of this property is wonderful. Very welcoming and helpful in guiding you on things to do in the area.
Extremely central location close to Place St. Jacques (more for young people) and the beautiful cathedral with the square in front of it with the covered market and restaurants serving Quiche Lorraine in its home city. Clean room with little fridge, though no electric sockets by the bed. Good breakfast.
The place of the hotel was amazing. If you plan to go to the zoo, it is right in front of the entry ! Plus is has multiple restaurants and fast foods in the same streets.
Almost everything. I never visited Nancy before and this stay was a kind of incredible discover for me. I love France and the small French towns. Nancy is a small jewel and this hotel is part of it. Unmissable to live a full Nancy experience!
