Very quiet bungalows with a perfect sunset view on Isalo from your terrace… Christian and Jimmy make you feel comfortable and at home and are very attentive to the guests They surprised us on our last night at the ecolodge with life music and Bara dance from a local Ranohira group… They ask you if you have some preferences for the meals… A couple of big kameleons live in the trees of their garden !

Set in the Sandstone Mountains, Isalo Rock Lodge overlooks the Isalo National Park. The property offers an outdoor pool and a restaurant. This is a fantastic property. It's the only property we stayed at that was comparable to any property you would stay at in Europe or North America. It was clean, the rooms were done very nice, and the property itself was in a great spot. We loved the deck and the big sliding doors. You still need to remember it's in the middle of nowhere, and as such there is things that can happen (power outages, weak wifi, etc...) but they really did a great job with this place. We were in the AC rooms with a front row and it was well worth it.
