I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming and genuinely cared about my experience. The hotel itself is newly built and everything feels solid and clean. The view from the windows of the room was absolutely stunning and the panoramic view in the restaurant was breathtaking. I also appreciated the big parking space available for those travelling by car. One of the highlights of my stay was the food in the restaurant. It was truly delicious and the breakfast had a wide range of options that were all very tasty. I also enjoyed the nice furniture and overall ambiance of the hotel. For those who enjoy exploring, the hotel is conveniently located near Moskens and can be easily accessed by foot if you take the ferry from Bodø. Additionally, the hotel provides nice hygiene products and has an elevator that could be helpful for disabled guests. Finally, I must mention that the staff truly made my stay special. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay in a beautiful location with excellent service.

Svolvær
Modern fully equipped high end apartment right on the waterfront. It had a bedroom, full well stocked kitchen, and the most comfortable pull out couch I’ve ever slept on. It even had a washer and dryer and the patio was lovely. It was right next to the pier where the tour boats and passenger ferry terminal. It even had warm underground parking and elevators. Great wifi and good lighting. We loved it and it felt like home so we stayed there twice, at the beginning and end of our Lofoten adventure
Live Hotel was our introduction to the beautiful Lofoten Islands. We disembarked in the dark, but the Hotel is an easy walk from where we got off Hurtigruten in Stamsund. Lovely clean, spacious room, great view. Hotel restaurant, which is another short walk away, served us delicious food. Easy to catch the bus into Leknes, so we could get our hire car and begin our week on The Lofotens. We could have picked the hire car up from Stamsund, but, hey, all part of the journey!
Delighted to stay in ancestral landscapes next to the Stockfish museum in Å, at the tip of the Lofotodden National Park (est 2018). To walk in one of the best preserved fishing villages in heartlands of the traditional Lofoten wintertime fisheries, to view upon seas where my grandfather, great grandfather and earlier ancestors sailed and sought catches of Arctic cod for livelihoods in this high north of Norway - for me a deeply resonating stay. Thank you!
Bøstad
I rarely give 10 score for hostels but this hostel really got me happy. I love the vibes despite not having so many guests during my stay (off-season). The place is very very very very very cozy!!!! Even the bathroom is cozy lol The reception guy let me check in 2hrs earlier - which was very nice. The door only has a code so you dont have to bring keys. Also, free coffee!!!! I will check in here again when i come back to Lofoten.
Ballstad
This is the best accommodation we had for our norway trip. It is so spacious and nicely decorated. We really love our stay here and it has everything that we need. We spent time relaxing in the house and didn't feel like leaving the house at all. The location of the house is very good and it served as the base for our 3 days Lofoten trip. We will definitely stay in the house again should we visit Lofoten again.
Svolvær
Lofoten Rorbuer had, by far, the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. I had some troubles with my flights/ferries in getting there, and they were so helpful in reassuring me and making sure everything worked out OK. The front desk attendants were so kind and polite, and really went above and beyond to make my experience memorable. The hotel, itself, was also beautiful, clean, and comfortable.
Kabelvåg
We recently had the pleasure of staying at Lofoten Apartments - Loft with a group of fantastic individuals. Now, this apartment was something else. It was spacious, it was clean, and the interior was positively modern. But let me tell you what really caught our attention — the view. The view of those mountains and that fjord was absolutely breathtaking. I mean, it was tremendous! Just tremendous.
Kabelvåg
This is the best accommodation I've stayed in while travelling in dozens of countries! The hosts are very nice and patient, they made us feel the warmest welcome. Everything is new and clean, the atmosphere is very cosy. The location is really convenience to travel in Lofoten. My girlfriend and I enjoyed every moment in this apartment, it makes our trip in Norway perfect.
The place is beautiful. It was our first night in Lofoten and it was wonderful. The hotel is a typical building, it is not modern but clean, comfortable and well equipped and in a beautiful location. Our room had a terrace that overlooked the port and you could see the cruise ships arrive and depart. The breakfast is very rich and complete. We love it
Price/performance ratio, considering Norway and especially Lofoten prices, is excellent! Good bed, good breakfast, towels and shower with showergel, convenient location - what else do you need from cheap hotel? Don't expect luxury and just enjoy free cup of tea late in the evening, after a long hike or a walk from restaurant further away.
Ballstad
Perfect stay. Actually the best stay we had on our trip through Norway. The rorbu is perfect - spacious, clean and very well maintained. The host were also great! They allowed us a early check in, they informed us on everything about the house and they gave us a lot of advices what to visit in Lofoten Islands. Thanks again and all the best.
Ballstad
OMG! What a a place. The best choice in my entire trip. Ballstad is a small town that is close to all the places you want to visit in Lofoten. and this hotel is charming, it looks new, intelligently built and with comfort, cleanliness and beauty both inside and around. We loved it, also the price was very good compared to Norwegian prices
The property was very spacious, clean, and felt like an authentic rorbu. It is also just 15 minutes away from Leknes Airport which is convenient for those with late flights into Leknes. The host was also the friendliest host we've encountered in our stay in Norway! Definitely recommend this property for anyone traveling to Lofoten.
Relatively affordable for Norway/Lofoten. Close to the center. Parking is free, and there are spots available if you don't arrive too late. The room has coffee/tea with a water heater and a huge fridge/freezer. Contactless check-in and -out. The breakfast was acceptable.
I stayed at his house while traveling to lofoten with my school for a student trip. The apartment is newly renovated, and was very comfortable. The owners and hosts were very flexible and communicative and I am very thankful. If you are in the area, I highly recommend this apartment.
Our entire stay at Thon Hotel Lofoten was wonderful. Comfy, quiet, tastefully decorated, kind and helpful staff, plus a perfect location for our stay (next to cruise terminal, attractions and car rental). Breakfast was exceptional with live piano music. We will definitely be back! 😊
Hotel located very convenient - close to the center of Leknes, not far from main street but in quiet place. Hotel room is cosy and comfortable and really good place for observing beautiful Lofoten sites. Restaurant also good and very convenient to have it just right in Hotel.
Reine
Amazing accommodation in Lofoten, close to the most important sights. Don't hesitate to visit this part of Norway in winter, the weather was surprisingly nice in March, hiking is perfect, almost no tourists, and if you are lucky you can see the northern light as well.
I stayed at May Apartment for another 2 nights in a room type called "STORM," located on the second floor. Our room offers a stunning view of the majestic Alps, making this apartment in Lofoten the clear winner for the best accommodation on this trip.
Leknes
Beautiful, spacious, and comfortable apartment, very well equipped with everything you need. The location is very central to explore around Lofoten and close to supermarkets and stores. The hosts’ recommendations for things to do in Lofoten were very helpful!
