Loved the place: from the tasteful decor to the cosey, homey atmosphere and the very comfortable bed, peaceful room- that by far exceeded our expectations.

Scandic Narvik is situated on the main street, Kongens Gate. This hotel has free WiFi internet, a fitness centre and a restaurant. The sky bar offers a panoramic view of the city and Ofotfjord. Very easy location, clean spacious rooms, excellent breakfast buffet. Loved our stay so much we extended it!

Breidablikk Guesthouse is located in central Narvik, 350 metres from Narvik Storsenter Shopping Centre. It offers rooms with private bathrooms, a flat-screen satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. it was clean, charming and the staff was helpful and nice.

The evaluation is based on the free upgrade they gave us, from a budget room to a hotel room. It was bigger, inside the main building and the bathroom was really nice

There is a combo clothes washer/dryer and a drying rack, so we were able to do our laundry. This is a big plus in a country with few self-service laundromats. Though there is a laundromat in Narvik, it is only open on Thursdays, and only for a short number of hours.) The bed was comfortable. (Note that if you are two people needing separate bedrooms, you need to notify the owner about that ahead of time because otherwise you may find the other bedrooms locked.) The shower was good (steady temperature, good pressure, and well-enclosed). There was a bathmat. Parking is free and right in front of the house. The location is quiet. The owner lives close by. It is only about a 20-minute walk to restaurants. As advertised, the view is fantastic, especially the sunsets.

Gorgeous view over the city and fjord, close to cable car and sky slope. We even got the chance to watch aurora borealis, as the location on the mountain doesn't get the light pollution of the city. To be able to watch it from the warmth & confort of the cabin was amazing! We got a minor problem solved promptly by the management, kudos to the friendly & helpful staff 👏
