L'hotel è in una posizione privilegiata per le escursioni. La camera aveva una vetrata da cui accedere direttamente all'esterno e godere di una vista eccezionale sulla valle, i vulcani e per osservare di sera il cielo stellato! La camera era pulita e anche se non grandissima per 4 persone, aveva tutto il necessario. Abbiamo cenato al ristorante e siamo stati bene.

Lo Snowman Lodge and Spa sorge nel centro della città di Ohakune, punto di accesso alle località sciistiche di Ruapehu e Turoa, di Whakapapa e del famoso Parco Nazionale Tongariro. Ci siamo fermati solo una notte, la camera era dotata di tutto il necessario. Abbiamo cenato nel loro ristorante e abbiamo mangiato bene. Si trova vicino a diversi locali dove potere fare colazione.

Situato a Ohakune, il Gables B&B offre un giardino, un barbecue, la connessione WiFi gratuita e la vista sul giardino. This host is very generous it is obvious they want you to feel at home and valued guests. Eggs, bread, plenty of cereals and fresh fruit, yoghurt etc. and then the extras to make you feel really at home. There’s no shops so the chocolate, chips and biscuits are a very thoughtful addition.we wil recommend and come stay again for sure.

Perfect location within Tongarironationalpark - good start up point for one day Tongariro Alpine Crossing. Chris is really friendly. Room is wonderfully equipped.

Situato a Ohakune, il Riversong Retreat offre l'accesso diretto alle piste sciistiche e una terrazza. 20 km dal villaggio di Whakapapa. Il bed & breakfast serve una colazione continentale o a buffet. I proprietari sono molto simpatici e disponibili. Mettono a disposizione la loro cucina, ci hanno dato informazioni per il Tongariro. La camera aveva una bella vista. Il bagno non è in a camera ma a fianco. È in buona posizione per visitare il parco, mezz'ora in macchina e 15 minuti da Ohakume (per poter cenare occorre andare presto, alle 21 chiude tutto)

The staff provided exceptional guidance so that we could take stunning views of the mountains during sunset. Very high quality breakfast. Overall, exceeded my expectations in this rather remote/resource limited (to a city person at least) location.

Situato a Ohakune, a soli 20 minuti di auto dal comprensorio sciistico di Turoa sul Monte Ruapehu, il Frankie & Hugh's è un appartamento indipendente ristrutturato che fa parte di una casa più grande.... Frankie and Hugh's felt like home away from home. Marlene and Wayne were great host and made every effort to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We found the property clean, spacious and well maintained. The breakfast was good and we very much enjoyed our stay at the property.
