Very relaxed and laid back place right on the river. Garden grounds with lots of bird life right out the door. The management of the property is now Caprivi Adventures tour company, so previous issues with management probably don’t apply. As they are part of a tour company, it’s easy to arrange activities. I had two exceptional birding outings on the river with Riian during my stay.

The best accommodation in the area. Beautiful restaurant right next to the river, memorable sunsets, easy access to town & border. Special thanks to the staff, especially Adriano, who helped me adjust my reservation and improve my itinerary. I am grateful!

The river is a close walk. Make sure and tell your taxi driver it is the Riverside GUESTHOUSE near the police station, not the Riverside Lodge out of town. An amazing breakfast was included!

Stay was nice and the lady running the place does her best. During the week you can have drinks in the bar and nearby is a popular Portuguese restaurant with very nice food. Place to park your car as well and a garden with grass behind the units where one can enjoy the shade of trees. Value for money.

The location, a little out of town, is so tranquil. Viewing platform looking over the Zambezi gives a lovely view of the river with Namibia 500m away on the distance. Breakfast was good and the chef produced some excellent evening meals. Many thanks to the staff who went the extra mile to sort out a shared taxi for my journey on to Kasane.
