The shower was in a bathtub and the head was turned towards the wall so you had to press yourself against the wall to be able to shower. The mountain view was nice but the busy road in front of the hotel disrupted our sleep.

We started our Alpencross by bike here. We could leave our car for 1 week. Breakfast was great! Dinner was good if you like schnitzel, salad and fries.

The hotel staff was very friendly, and surprisingly - very young. During our entire stay, we were greeted and escorted with a smile. Breakfast was good, you could say standard, so there was enough for the table. The room was clean, standard. Reccomend to try local beer and very good schnitzel

In the room no fridge, no water cooker, etc. Basically nothing except a bed, closet and TV. Also did not see sauna/fitness.

The hotel restaurant was not good. All courses were served cold/only half warm — and the staff were not attentive. High prices for small portions and low quality.

I know vintage is a keyword, but this is a bit much. The rooms could use an update and the walls and ceilings seem to be made of cardboard. You can have a conversation with your neighbor at any time. Also: please clean the terraces.

It's very typical, borderline cliché and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was superb.

Great location right off the main road, with many attractions and hiking options within 15-30 minutes driving- Zugspitze, Blindsee and other smaller lakes, town of Reutte, Ehrenberg castles group, etc. Deserves few days of exploring.

The sofa in the lobby by the fireplace has somehow bleached on my jacket and I could not wash it out. I only noticed it later, after I had left, so couldn't tell the staff directly.

The hotel itself (except for the sofa) is nice and clean, cozy rooms, although mine was under the roof and only had a light window. Has a restaurant with very friendly staff and a billiard room, if you want one. Breakfast is quite OK, you've got all the basic things you need.

It is not as listed in the pictures. We were notified that the restaurant would be open but it was closed. The bedroom was basic, one of the bed pillows was filthy. No staff on hand to sort it until the evening when the manager showed up. Our room key was left on the desk to pick up on our arrival at 16hr00.

In order to qualify for the title of hotel I expect the rooms and beds to be in order. It doesn't have to be shiny and new (which you won't get here, you've been warned, other reviews here are very correct in that aspect), but: * curtains should be present (they weren't, we were given some table cloths and a 'hope this helps solve your problem'), * the beds should be better than average (I am after all paying for a good night's sleep), * and the shower should be in order (had to battle the 3 piece door that couldn't keep itself together, literally). Breakfast was ok-ish, but not fresh, the coffee was translucid (so not coffee) and there are only two baby chairs, even though the place was clearly frequented by traveling families. All of these issues could have been fixed/prevented for a relatively low cost. They weren't. When you read throught the comments of other guests you will notice similar complaints. We figured those were the outliers, but as it turns out, they were spot on. If you come to stay here, set your expectations as low as you can.

I liked that it was on the route we were already taking, and the guy doing bar/reception was very friendly when we arrived late. There is plenty of parking space for the car. For the comedy fans, you expect to see Basil Fawlty appear at any given minute, which I guess you could find charming.

little outdated tv and interior, lots of dutch geusts as previously dutch owned, nice holliday atmosphere with families and also local guests. value for money is great.

Called i might arrive just at cutoff checkin time 22:00 i was few minutes late, receptionist supernice: at arrival just gave me keys and allowed me checkin the next day after breakfast. Nice breakfast. fried eggs included. Oh: travelled with trailer: no problem HUGE parking lot. 2-3 tourbusses could easily park in addition to all the cars.
