United KingdomThe TVs are not smart so remember to bring an adapter if you want to watch movies. I was pretty disappointed with the maid service. They emptied the bins and folded the duvets and that was about all. They didn’t knock before entering so on 3 occasions we were in. To be fair we hadn’t put up Do Not Disturb signs but still… We were given one small thin towel and a hand towel each and these were not changed during our week there. The sheets weren’t even smoothed on the beds. Nothing was wiped down. At £6,000 for the week you’d expect better. Also our room was near the boot room so it was noisy so no alarm needed to go up skiing.
The two bedroom apartment was nice and it had a decent sized kitchen and a roomy kitchen table and tv area. The windows and doors was excellent quality.

The apartment was spectacular, very spacious and clean. Everyday cleaning service was very welcome. The location of the property is very convenient, 2 minutes from the ski bus and 4 minutes from the drag lift that takes you to the gondola. The spa area is fantastic.

Pool was lovely, well kept & a reasonable size for the size hotel. Room had all the necessary amenities & again well kept. Bedroom was well soundproofed even though we were right next to reception, couldn't hear anything when in the bedroom. Daily housekeeping for bins & loo roll check. Ski room was great with heated boot poles. Close proximity to supermarkets piste & small town. Ski bus stops very close to hotel. Though close, Scheiber ski shops offers ski storage for €3 per day per set for those lazy like me.

The accommodation is in an excellent location, in a quiet, yet central location. The huge balcony offers a great view of the surrounding mountains, and the sunrise is also amazing. The apartment is perfectly equipped with quality appliances. I think the quality of the accommodation itself is easily 5-star, it has a fitness room, sauna, and a huge indoor pool. All levels can be reached by elevator! What is even more important to me than these is the attitude of the staff towards the guests. Whether it was to the Hungarian staff or to the others, everyone smiled, was kind and did an excellent job. The restaurant across the street has excellent food, the service is fantastic, the breakfast buffet is very tasty and varied, I felt at home. At this accommodation, in any season, I can find what I need to relax and spend quality time. The proximity of the surrounding "Hochalpenstrasse" is also an excellent center for hiking by car (Timmelsjoch, Stelvio Pass...) Thank you for this experience!

The location is truly magnificent, offering stunning views and easy access to surrounding attractions. The apartment itself was superbly equipped with everything we needed, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free stay. A standout feature for us was the exquisite spa zone, providing the perfect relaxation after a day out. United KingdomBreakfast did not meet the quality of the rest of the accommodation. Could be improved by offering freshly squeezed juice, fresh loafs of bread to cut, fruit salads, more quality cold cuts and cheese and greater choice of (healthy) cereals. I also think that the coffee could be improved.
Fantastic location, very nice during the summer holidays as there were not many people. No reservation needed for restaurants, no queues, a lot of charm, nature and fresh air to breathe for people who like to avoid the crowds. The views from our apartment were stunning, lots of walking trails available, easy to navigate. The lift took us up to the Hohe Mut Alm which has very nice views and great food. Views on the glaciers with trails going back to the village that are manageable for people with a moderate fitness level. We felt very much at home in Obergurgl and will try to come back. Biggest compliments for William who is doing a fantastic job at running the place and who is the most energetic and positive person we encountered. He has a unique quality of combining professionalism with establishing a personal connection to clients. Beate & Sammy

ItalyThe choice of interior design pays the duty sometimes to practical aspects. No broom and dustpan, no vacuum cleaner, no micro-wave oven, few pots and pans (above all a grill pan), no tablecloth... At the reception there is nobody, only a phone number to call. Unfortunately the recorded message is only in German and it was not clear that the apartments are managed by the reception of the hotel across the street. Fortunately another client had the same experience and helped us to sort this out. Also not clear which parking places are private and which are available to guest (we have been requested to move the car when we were at dinner)
Nice and big apartment in a big five-storey building. The apartment on the ground floor had a private big garden and three rooms each with its own bathroom, suitable also for different families in the same apartment. Nice gym with cyclettes and tapis roulants equipped with a fantastic software interface.

United KingdomService, or lack thereof. The place is set up to work almost without any staff. That is a nice dream, but it doesn’t really work, and definitely not at this price range. Have a problem? No one to help. Phone/Whatsapp? Nothing. Also, when there was stuff, it showed lack of experience. After letting us in into our room at half past noon, “sorry, but I can’t give you the keys up until 3PM (checking time) because my boss wouldn’t approve”. Hmm, oook. Also, pretty new, but some things don’t work, haven’t been fitted, like doors in kitchen cupboards, with the screws that weren’t screwed left there. And while the quality is good, if you are going to have a dishwasher, please a small set of dishwasher tablets. If I wanted to go shopping like if I was at home for every small need, I would stay at home ;)

LatviaI would like to share my negative experience with Chalet Obergurgl Luxury Apartments. We had a holiday with 2 children: 6 and 5 years old, in the very season in February, so the prices corresponded to the level of expensive and prestigious mountain resorts, but, unfortunately, the level of apartments and service did not reach that level. We found out in advance that they do the cleaning every day, because we all have allergies. We have been assured that cleaning is made once per day and bed lined will be changed. Cleaning team came to us every day, but it felt like it was just for show, because the trash can was overflowing periodically, as if no one noticed it. Bed linen and towels were not changed. No one did anything in the bathrooms, they didn't wipe the floor. The most important - food. The restaurant is always fully booked, so they can't even accept their guests for dinner if you haven't booked table several weeks in advance. You will agree that it is very strange that at the hotel, the restaurant does not give priority to its own guests, and there is no Austrian tradition when they set a table for you. We knew the problem with catering in Austria, we reserved breakfast and dinner in advance and received a confirmation letter, because running around the city with small children in search for food is not the best activity. As a result, several times we were refused dinner, without explaining the reasons, they said that there were no seats, even though we had a letter confirming that dinner was ordered. This situation when we have been rejected for a dinner came together when our child got sick and we had to visit doctor. In the evening, our little girl fell asleep hungry and cried that she wanted pasta. Breakfast was at level of 2 stars hotel. The attitude of the personnel was like that they are missing staff, they all were very busy. We will never come back to this place again in our lives, and we do not recommend it to you!
