Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Czech RepublicLimited wellness area for kids to only certain days of the week. It can easily mean your kids are not allowed to go there at all if you book shorter stay. Not easy access to ski area if the hotel side lift is closed. Which apparently happens quite often.

Czech RepublicThe hotel itself is old style and is operated by “old style” management. Just passive entertainment/service no modern trends. We had the family room (old style because new/renovated rooms were already sold on booking). The bathroom is terrible - small that you cannot fully open door and walk in. You sneak through the gap basically. Its almost imposible to enter it and if two adults people try to use it one stands in shower. The hotel is maze with very narrow claustrophobic corridors with very poor navigation signs and system - kids must be accompanied all time otherwise they get lost. According to my opinion it would need major structural reconstruction to bring it to other Falkensteiner standards therefore I guess hotel oriented on “estern Europe clients” with lower standards expectation - majority were Polish, Czech, Slovak and Hungarian. The kids area looks big but there is not much entertainment after-all. At 9pm its full of glasses half full of all-inclusive alcohol and drunk people playing pingpong. The ski rental is “joke” - real joke and again rude local guy with no sense for customer service. The spa area is too small and nothing extra fancy. The concept that cooling pool is in centre converts every sauna cabin in genitals observation deck. Top - “Sauna-master” this guy is an idiot xxx Pure idiot. The pools were “cold” - around 26 degs. For kids o.k. , but apres ski relax - no. Kids pool is fun, the kids enjoyed their time there. But there is no lifeguard on duty and the area is two-floor and some people (mostly adults) tend not to respect the pool-rules. I would appretiate someone overlook this area.
Food is very good, everytime fresh and great selection. Dining areas are smartly devided so even there are tousend kids, the level of noise is o.k. . Very good bar and bartenders very attentive. The skiroom is equipped with smart lockers for your gear. Plus hotel made all effort that your transition from hotel on slope is smooth. Some staff very nice - some staff still cant accept fact that hotel changed their focus on eastern Europe clients and its difficult for them to serve. Hotel and rooms are clean and generally the equiptment works. Kids pool and area is fun. For kids obviously :) Check in easy, check out easy. If you are with kids its worth - especially off season for reasonable price. For anyone else, I would go to another Falk. Hotel and spa is clean. Very clean.

United Kingdomthe access to the one lift was good but the access to the village was poor. At afternoon tea the food offer was very limited. there should have been more savoury options too. Nuts and crisps available pre dinner would have been nice.

Czech RepublicWe arrived Sun 13.40 , we were the only guests there. I had to fill myself complete registration data of all us 5 into a tablet which did not work well, was in German despite we prefer English. 2 receptionists were chatting private instead of taking our passports and making their work. they did not do even if I asked them. I completed registration at 2pm. when asking if we can have some lunch , they told us they close at 2 the restaurant. stupid behaviour . taking our passports and filling data by reception during our lunch would make a difference…you cannot get a good coffee during breakfast as bar is closed. espresso machines in the restaurant make very poor coffee / espresso) …in general the hotel and entire stay were very nice and we will return back.
Very good place for family holiday with kids - easy to combine skiing, wellness, and a bar nearby playroom :) excellent wellness and separate pool for kids. appreciated all inclusive with great espresso and cocktails.

Czech RepublicSome of the atractions were out of order or quite faded. Drinks from postmix were unbeliavably sweet as well as lots of the deserts.
Nice place to stay with kids, spacy room, animation programs, play zones, cosy tiny aquapark for kids. Nice drinks at the bar.

SloveniaRooms are bit too small and of older date. Room service (for food) is missing. Activities for kids 9-14 are missing.
Spa is very nice, modern, spacy and clean. Great! Rooms are very clean, with comfortable bed, modern bathroom. Cleaning service very good. Equipment (pool, playgrounds) is mostly for small kids, so a bit of activities is lacking for kids 8-14.. So it is perfect for small kids. Food is excellent.

Czech RepublicCompare to 2-3 years ago everything is worse. Visited 4 years in row with group of 10 friends but this was our last time. Wellness is horrible, mold on walls in corners, you dont feel comfortable there as it is freezing cold everywhere, they want to save money on everything. Spoke to manager of hotel about cold jacuzzi ( only 32 C degrees !) which is outside and she told me its enough, yeah definitely enough if you want to catch flu. Jacuzzi should have minimum of 38 C degrees. especially when outside temperatures are in minus... Food also not satisfactory compared to last years, no seafood, dry pasta everyday... Overall Definitely not worth to visit again for these prices.

Czech RepublicJust detail - improve a reliability of room access cards. If you carry it p.e. close to the phone, it can be deleted and you have to go to reception to restore it.
