Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsThis is more a good to know. The Giggijochbahn is indeed at quite close distance, yet for that you walk to the slope first and then have to take a red of black slope down. Not something for a beginner (like me).
I have never had a warmer welcome than with this family (and I have traveled a lot)! Breakfast was great, they had a nice and clean sauna and the staff was always happy to help.

NetherlandsI would be good if we were allowed to eat in the breakfast area as well (order a pizza, for instance), but that's not crucial.
Breakfast was good. The products were fresh and tasty. Good coffee :)

BulgariaNothing negative to be said, it was all worth it. :)
Everything was top-notch! The hotel was simply stellar - clean, tidy, cozy rooms. The breakfast was always up to standard. The facilities like the ski room, sauna and relaxation zone were what you'd expect. However, the biggest highlight has to go to the staff: they are some of the friendliest people you will ever meet and they are always ready to help you out! That alone made the whole stay worth it.

United KingdomSome of the group could only stay 5 nights but they were charged for the whole week, it would have been nice to get a refund if only for the breakfast.
Location was excellent, ski bus stopped outside the hotel which took us to the Gaislachkogl gondola station from there we caught the ski bus to Obergurgl three of the six days skiing, transfer time 15 minutes. Steep walk down to Solden took about 10 minutes but caught a taxi back easily. Breakfast included continental and warm bacon & eggs so plenty of choice. Would recommend, host brilliant.

RomaniaNice breakfast, not a lot of options, bot good enough. Our room has a spectacular mountain view from two sides. The location is in the upper part of Soelden, so thee is a bot pf walking up and dow the hill. But you also have the option to use the centrum shuttle which is 5-10 min walk from the location, which takes you to the main part of Soelden. The host was nice and gave us some nice advice.

IrelandAs with most Austrian accommodation, the rooms were very hot at night. Breakfast began at 8 am which meant that you could not have breakfast and make the first ski lift.
The hotel was very pleasant and clean. The staff were extremely friendly and particularly helpful when I broke my phone and needed to find a shop to get a cover for the screen. There is a walking shortcut to town which meant you could walk to the Giggijochbahn in 10 to 15 minutes. It is a steep climb back in the evening but fine if you like hiking.

GermanyWe went at the end of March and there wasn’t enough snow to ski down directly to the house, so you have to walk a bit. You also have to walk for about 5-10 minutes in the morning to get to the slope down to Giggijoch station. There’s a bus station in front of the house but the ski bus only goes to Gaislachkogl and only every 45 minutes.
Typical Austrian guesthouse with wooden furniture, nice mountain view from our room, sunny balcony, delicious breakfast, friendly staff, cozy and comfy. All good.

ArgentinaFirst of all, it wasn't ski in and ski out! only reason why we had decided to pay their very expensive fee!!! To access the slopes you need to take the bus!!! Or walk 10 minutes (not 1 min, not 5 min) and uphill (and in one part the slope is steep!!)!!!! The documents for check-in, which the tourist must sign, are exclusively in German. All hotel signs are exclusively in German. The 2 exceptions are posters for the benefit of the hotel 1, do not take food from the breakfast room 2, CHECK OUT IS AT 9 AM, AND THEY DO NOT HAVE SPACE FOR THE PASSENGER TO STORE THEIR LUGGAGE FOR A FEW HOURS. The help sign, which says that if you have a food allergy to notify the staff, is in the center of the breakfast room, but only in German, next to the translated one that says that you should not bring food from the room. HAHAHA ! It is clear that, for what is convenient for them, it does occur to them to translate, And it is clear that they have no interest in receiving people who do not speak German..... The hotel does not serve dinner but they do not give you any advice on where to go to dinner. Or any information about where to request delivery. .. The hotel is very very far from the center and uphill... there are no buses outside of ski hours. We found 2 buildings from there "A Casa", an excellent Italian restaurant. For us it was very good, because apart from that we couldn't find any other option other than in the far, downhill center. The ROOM DOES NOT HAVE a water heater. And there is no hot water available for tea. If you want hot water, you have to pay €1 per cup (medium size 🤣. What a shame!!!) The bathroom is equipped with 2 ordinary PLASTIC cups! That you cannot wash (because they break) and that they are not replaced during daily cleaning. The cleaning cart doesn't even have glasses. Replacing them is not contemplated! We directly ask them for glass glasses. It is not at all a 3 star hotel.
Nothing really
