Quite cramped around buffet areas with only a small choice of foods not on par with a 4 star hotel. For example at breakfast expected more fresh fruit, hot porridge, waffles or pancakes, fish options, greater variety of cakes/pastries etc. "Cold milk" (as per label) was kept out at room temperature. Evening salad could also have a greater choice. Mattress hard and pillows flatten into barely any head support, so not a comfortable night's sleep. Room interior felt dated and basic given the high price charged, have stayed in hotels with better decor, facilities, food choice and comfort for less, so not value for money. You are paying for the amazing lake view, but less benefit if you are there in the winter to be on the slopes.

Great location for getting into Zell am See centre, although need transport or hotel bus to get to slopes. Good quality bread.

Everything is good

The hotel is much better than the reviews written about it. In addition, it is only a 5-minute pleasant walk to the center along the lake. Your windows will be 10 meters from the water. Breakfast and dinner are quite good.

1-Very limited parking spaces 2-No air conditioning, we couldn’t stay at the hotel room in the afternoon (summer time) it was very hot 3-A lots of spiders and other bugs

Parking is an issue here and I managed when turning to scrape the car bumper slightly as a result. It will be an expensive repair. Make sure you use Google Maps to find it as getting past and under the railway line is a challenge for the first time visitor. And when turning, watch out for the low granite kerb outside the main entrance. It carries a number of scars!

A really well set up hotel in a fantastic location. Our room was particularly well appointed, and all the facilities available made a very pleasurable break. All the staff we met were very helpful

the rooms were a little too functional - would be great to have a bit of a refurb and make a little more modern. Our bathroom had a shower over the bath without a proper screen so it was difficult to prevent the water going everywhere.

loved the location - the lake is beautiful and the evening menu was great and quality was fantastic. I travelled with my son and they made anything that he wanted to eat. very impressed

A little bit too far out from the main area (but still waking distance)

Very clean, location was ok about 8 min walk into the main square not great if your not very mobile but not too bad, free shuttle to CityXpress, food was lovely, warm and welcoming, view was beautiful on the lake

1. Every thing was perfect till the last day while checking out. The staff who attended my check out process she claimed that i have to pay for 2 Coke bottles which we didn't consumed during our stay. When I did not accepted it .. the staff started to encounter an argument in a rude manner. So my advise to the customers coming to this hotel to be careful and be prepared for such arguments because it seems this hotel doesn't have a professional invoicing system. 2. Also the checking out staff refused to give me the receipt/invoice of my stay considering the room charges of 6 nights .. with an excuse that i booked via booking.com so i should get it from booking.com (this was surprising !!! because i am usually getting it in other hotels when i book via booking.com). 3. No slippers provided as mentioned on the hotel page at booking.com 4. The dust on the room floor was not being removed on daily basis.
