The sofa in the room could be more comfortable and not that hard. Some staff in the hotel is not too friendly, specially older lady in the spa (the young one is very nice and always smiling). I did not like that in the spa you can not get the tea after 7 pm eventhough you can use it till 9 pm, some parts till 10 pm.

Rooms are big and spacious. I looove the big spa and all the views from the rooms and from the spa. It is really beautiful place to stay and breakfast is delicious and lots of stuff to choose from. I would recommend this place for couples or families.

A fabulous hotel, we enjoyed the panorama spa while kids were skiing, then all had a blast in the family pools. Cocktail bar by the outdoor pool was a great treat.

Glass wall between bathroom and bedroom, which made it challenging to use the shower for a family with kids.

The hotel is a 4* one and all facilities are supposed to be exquisite, however the hotel does not have a shuttle to the slopes and it relies on the public transport of the city. This may sound great until you have to wait in the morning 3-4 buses (that come every 15’) to get in and same when you get back. If you want to use the bus at lunch time (for example) the bus comes every 30’. I have lost a lot of time waiting for the bus or I had to take the car… I have stayed before at other accommodations in Kaprun and even if these were not 4* there was a shuttle service available.

The property was absolutely incredible - room was nice and well equipped. Cleaning and mini bar refill was done daily free of charge. We have half board and the food was amazing. The spa of the hotel was excellent. I would choose again this hotel and it was great value for the money

The rooms were a bit overheated, making it uncomfortable to sleep at night. Also, not comfortable with the window (between the room and the bathroom) facing directly the bath tub. And there seems to be no ventilation in the bathroom.

Friendly staff, quality food, great choice of food for breakfast and dinner. Great facilities (swimming pools, sauna, gym), easy access to ski storage, parking, etc. Nice and comfortable rooms. Dog friendly!

Dinner server Catalin is very rude. I was quite taken aback by his manners and tone.

Wow... Tauern Spa is just a fantastic hotel with excellent facilities. Would like to complement the housekeeping department - they do a wonderful job and are very friendly. Breakfast and dinner buffet are delicious and diverse. Pools and saunas are versatile and so relaxing. This place is a gem.

Fantastic place, worth every penny. It's was very easy to get to the slopes from the hotel by a ski bus and the bus stop was just next to the spa entrance. The food at the hotel was so great, such a treat. Also, there were lots of tasty and healthy vegan options. We had to leave the hotel very early in the morning to catch the flight back and the staff was so kind and prepared a vegan breakfast bag for us! The spa amenities were a perfect addition to our stay. Nothing better than recovering at sauna after a long day on the slope. And as for saunas, there are so so many of them, I've never seen a place with such a variety. We really did enjoy this stay, it was actually sad that we had to go back home :)

The perfect place for winter holidays ! We spent a week here, second year in the row and we are planning to come back again next year. The hotel rooms, the people, the spa, the swimming pools, the breakfast, the dinner, everything was excellent to the last detail. The area is also really beautiful for small trips around the hotel. Here you can combine ski and spa for the best winter holidays!

We weren’t warned there are no slippers provided. The spa bag containing ‘everything you need’ doesn’t have slippers

Just beautiful, so many options and great food. The guest spa area is very nice, the hottest Sauna I’ve been in for years!
