The bathroom was poorly cleaned, with mold in the shower tiles. They provided coffee sachets, but one was just the empty packaging.

no maintenance, the cheapest most ugly unaesthetic uncomfortable cheap second hand furniture. no dishwasher tablets, filthy dishes, old unhygenic plates and cuttlery, bare minimum kitchen things, less than camping or old backpacker quality of objects, totally doesnt match the house, no balcony furniture so to enjoy the view you better sit on the ground, advertised like an apartment, deceptive pictures and listing, says pricvate kitchen but further down the page it says shared kitchen, this is a share house, very uncomfortable bed, no bath mat, not tea towel, no tissues, the cheapers costco coffee and tea, broken furniture extras and broken fans and old post it notes all over the house, its a mess, for a massive and beautiful house it is very inhospitable, the noise from the ground floor travels to the top floor. its very loud, no carpets. not good for intimate moments even if the bathroom is huge and and the space ie beautiful... the sound travels in every way. there was laundry hanging all over the balcony, making it unusable, there was mouldy dishes in the dishwasher, it just had less care and usability than the cheapest backpacker. not near the beach or the shops, in the rain it would be impossible to get anywhere by foot, not near transport, really did not deliver at all. massively overpriced and oversold, this is a scam this place. for half the price it is good, 50 bucks, bakcpacker rate. for 100 it is deceptive and scam all round. deliberately avoidant host. nightmare to find put the code in at night to the key safe, tiny numbers and difficult key safe location. even if the door is easy once you find it, it is not easy to find.

brilliant house if you were on your own or with friends in it , quite new and high level of fixtures and fittings. lovely under cover parking. if you happen to be the one car that is in it. its great. massive bathroom bath and double shower.

My room keys was not working properly and it took long time to unlock and I have informed the manager and she wanted me to put the keys in to hole gently. Still same issue happened.

The bathroom area was concerning particularly the mold on the ceiling. Tiles had cracks which was a slipping hazard. The fire alarm by the door also went off randomly while my partner and I were sleeping. We have no idea what triggered it.

I did like the location as it was quiet and it's away from the busy roads while also walking distance to the parklands and Australia Fair. Rooms are spacious.

The place is dirty and no maintenance at all. There is dust everywhere and not just that. When we enter (the garage and house door where fully opened with nobody around), we noticed that the floor was extremely dirty - ok, maybe other people left it dirty after the housekeeper or whoever else went to clean. Our room was also dirty: stained towels and pillowcases (at this stage you don’t even trust the rest of the bedsheets), lump of loose hair on the floor, clear bathroom door full of grease (definitely it hasn’t been cleaned after the previous guests). Lots of other guests left bad review about the bed, so please check the picture I took to understand how they “fix” the bed frame. Poor mattress too - they should definitely change everything here!! At night I smelled cigarette and I was wondering if someone was smoking in the house or something and in the morning I noticed that the window track was full of cigarette. Some parts of the kitchen were also sticky and not clean properly, full of spiderwebs.

This place could have 10+ The location is pretty good, 15/20 min by walk from the beach and lots of potential as the house is really nice. Based on 3 floors, the room is located on the third floor with en-suite bathrooms: toilet and bath - specious as the room and good size balcony.

It’s an air BnB and the manager doesn’t send you the codes straight away to unlock your safe for your keys and took them an hour of waiting out front for them to text me the code to the safe

The bed was extremely uncomfortable as mattress very thin onto a hard slat base also no top sheet supplied . The air conditioning was very weak in our room & was switching off automatically every 2 hours so with very small opening in windows room become very hot !!

The hostel was quiet & spacious . Location worked well for us but no shops nearby . Nice bathrooms & plenty wardrobe space .

The bed was unfortunately quite uncomfortable as the mattress is hard (suggest a mattress topper). Also there is no lift so you’ll have to lug your suitcases and what not up 2 flights of stairs.

Easy access to shops, public transport etc. 10-15 drive from surfers paradise which is good.
