The space was huge and didn’t feel crowded at all, so much room to put all my stuff. The bed, doona & pillows were all comfortable. The kitchen also had everything you could possibly need, which would be great for longer stays! Location was great, tucked away into the bush but only a short drive into the Main Street 😁 the outside area was very cute and also so close to the gorgeous walking track by the river

Studio cottage is wow 🤩 as you enter through a portico into a “tardis” . This Dr had no idea of, from the photos! The opulent king size lounge suite to the “how did they fit all that in the kitchen” space! Then stepping outside on the small deck the forest / jungle is emersive in shady but open airiness . Upstairs you are in the forest canopy, luxuriating in the opulence fit for a king with a king sized bed , king sized spa bath & seperate king sized shower. The spacious and sensory sensation of wide vista windows covered in a curved masterpiece of ceiling architecture. But there is more: a quaint porthole fresh air window beside the bed and sliding glass beside the spa. When back to earth, this is a place designed to be enjoyed. There is a house, and two other cottages somewhere nearby but you would never now . The chooks grazing in the bushes and trees probably do though . A wonderful unique experience I am glad we had the chance to have. Dr Brian Bowring AM

Everything at Ashwood has been taken care of. All amenities are excellent. Host communication was above our expectations. The cottage was clean, comfortable and perfect for a couple. The location, close enough to Bright, was great for getting a sense of Bright's outskirts, and was perfect for walking by the Ovens river.

This property is so well designed, peaceful and has style. We were very comfortable and relaxed among the trees and nature - we were even provided with insect spray to keep the mosquitos away! Other cabins are not visible and overall we walked into Bright along the beautiful tracks that are close by. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating to our needs - thank you :)

No complaints

Amazing location, beautiful cottage. The birds start singing when the sun rises, so you may not get a sleep-in, even with the comfy bedding, but there is so much to see and enjoy in Bright and its surrounds anyway - why not start early! The spa was lovely, especially with the addition of some of the supplied bubble bath.

Not a problem for us but FYI the shower and bath were visible from the bed. The sun room is absolutely beautiful but there was no Cooling in that room so it can't really be used in summer but it was great for drying our clothes.

Great price. The cottage was sizeable with a big spa bath and a good kitchen. Comfy bed. Great informative booklet and take out menus provided. There were bikes on site to use. Good communication from the hosts. There were bunny rabbits in the morning. The place was quiet and at the end of a street. A lovely oasis.

There is nothing I didn’t like, but we stayed in studio apartment as lovely as it was, my knees disagreed with the stairs, but we’ve been hiking every day

The atmosphere of the property is beautiful. Felt like a literal home away from home, but better with the sound of the river and wildlife!

Would have been great to have the TV near the bed so we could watch it. But this is just personal preference! But overall it was a tremendous stay :)

An easy process to follow in terms of directions to the property with clear communication from the host. We really enjoyed our stay in this cute cottage in the forest for our mini-moon.

We got to the villa, and it took our breath away.The place was fantastic so lovely and cosy and the privacy of the place.It was bigger than the photos made out to be. Loved the bed. The daycore was just right. Wood fire was fantastic. The spa bath was super great. Overall, Fantastic will be back again.

Nothing really. It was a bit further from town than we expected but was close to the rail trail for cycling, which was the main reason for our visit to Bright.

The setting was magical set amongst the trees and so close to the walking path. The rooms were spotless and had so many lovely features such as a fire place with wood provided and a spa with bubble mix provided.

Well appointed, great shower and spa - perfect for aching bodies after the day’s exertions! The bedroom/bathroom combo works well. Great fireplace & RC air con, would be super cosy in winter. Lovely peaceful bush setting, short drive/cycle into town/rail trail. Can access the beautiful Canyon walk directly behind property.
