Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The assumption that when booking for 2 people that the second person is a partner. The property was advertised as having 2 single and 1 double beds and I could see no reason to request another bed. It appears booking for 2 means only the double bed is available. Glenda was very understanding and allowed the use of the single bed.
Location was great. Easy walk into the CBD.

Not a big deal, but finding the key at night when dark was a problem.
Unit was large and comfortable, well furnished and clean and tidy. Bed comfortable with good bedding. Off street undercover parking was a bonus.

The accommodation was very comfortable with a balcony both front and back. The kitchen was well equipped. Location was close to town, and the Pertobe Road beach location was an easy walk.

The check-in process could have been clearer - I was confused by the initial message referring to the "roll door." You use the lock box to access the key and garage remote, and open the garage with the remote before using the key to enter the unit through the door inside the garage.
The location was the best! We could walk to the beach and all the nearby restaurants. It was still on a pretty block. The owner was really responsive and kind. The living room sofas were amazing, and the TV was huge and modern. The bed was comfy, and the bedroom was pretty.

No a/c or fan in the bedroom but there is an a/c unit in the lounge area.
Very neat and clean place in a perfect location. Was a bit of a treasure hunt working out how to get in but the instructions were clear enough. It was great having a garage for the car, it was a squeeze but fitted my Mazda CX-8.

Glenda was a great host, keeping us informed and even a SMS note after we left. Close to Pippies restaurant which we loved. Lovely chocolate on arrival.

This is the upstairs area of a two storey townhouse that has been spilt into two areas. We knew the set up regarding the kitchenette but we had people in the ground floor apartment that we could hear. The balcony is right on the street and not covered
The location is perfect for us. Walk to the beach, shops, clubs, cafes. Very comfortable bed and spacious enough for two. The bathroom has a large spa bath

The kitchenette was thoughtfully provided with crockery and cutlery. The only sink being in the bathroom was a limitation but manageable.
This was a superb location, walkable or an easy drive to the town, beach and tourist facilities.

Convenient location close to Flagstaff Hill and restaurants. A short walk to the city centre and supermarkets. The apartment was well appointed, clean and spacious. Glenda was very informative and friendly. We will definitely stay there again next time we visit Warrnambool and will recommend it to our famity and friends.

Fantastic location. The apartment was very modern and had all the facilities that we needed. Glenda, our host was very helpful and sent us details of local activities to visit during our stay. She also allowed us to check out late which my husband and I greatly appreciated. I would definitely recommend Bayan Place as a place to stay.
