A traditional bed&breakfast experiences in a hidden gem. It’s a 15min drive from the nearest town for dinner, but it’s worth making the trip here as host Fritz is an absolute gentleman who takes pride in sharing his piece of paradise with his guests. A rambling garden full of delights, Cyril the dog for welcoming pats, a warm and comfortable bedroom and a nourishing home-cooked breakfast. It was a real highlight of my trip. Thankyou!

There are no cooking facilities, and it’s 20 km from the nearest town after dinner. The drive back at night on very dark roads, with suicidal wildlife, is a bit challenging.

The owner is a really interesting man who makes you feel as if you are visiting a friend. He also has a gorgeous dog, and a wonderful library. The property is beautiful, and so peaceful. The room was very comfortable, with fresh flowers and classical music playing on arrival. The owner prepares a lovely breakfast.

Fritz was SO welcoming, as well as Cyril! The place is just gorgeous and we can't wait to go back. The breakfast Fritz prepared was delicious and he made our stay there much more enjoyable being the loveliest human being and the best host we've ever had. Thank you so much Fritz!

Absolutely nothing

Birdwing B&B is a little piece of paradise tucked away in the beautiful rural area of Weegena. We just loved our little self-contained, rustic and peaceful cottage overlooking the little dam filled with ducks. Our host Fritz and his lovely dog Cyril were welcoming, warm and friendly. Fresh eggs for breakfast from Fritz's chickens were delicious. We were so sad to leave. Thankyou for everything Fritz.

Great private room with own entrance. Fritz was very friendly and great to have a chat to. Lovely cooked breakfast prepared by Fritz. Comfy bed complete with hot drink facilities and fresh flowers. TV and WiFi .

Location was beautiful. Fritz was the perfect host. He not only made us welcome he also welcomed our 2 dogs. His dog Cyril became best friends with our dogs. Looking forward to our next stay. 😀

A genuine (pre-AirBnB) bed and breakfast experience. Fritz was welcoming but not intrusive and provided a wonderful cooked breakfast. The outdoor setting was perfect for the long summer evenings. The location was just right for exploring the Western tiers and short walks. Easy access to Deloraine.

We were warmly welcomed into their home by Fritz and Annie. Walking around the mature gardens and hearing the unmistakable call of the pobblebonk frog living on the edge of their lake. The cosy chat over an excellent breakfast. And Cyril the dog.

The warmth and friendliness of the hosts made me feel like I was being welcomed back by old friends, even though we had not previously met. The room was beautiful with many small touches to make the stay comfortable. The peace and beauty of the garden and bush surrounds were a bonus.

Difficult to find . As 800 m up a gravel road after the given address and not clearly marked . No telstra signal,so no navigation at times .

Great himwcoomed breakfast by the friendly host . Lots of wildlife .

It was hard to find, not where shown on the map. The TV was not working and the internet doesn't work in the room. Just disappointing.
