It's not a big deal but it's best to get there before sunset. We arrived late, and it was pitch dark around the house, making it a bit tricky to park and avoid wallaby droppings in the complete darkness. It would have been great if there were some pathway lights to help out.

We had such a great time staying there! Waking up to a wallaby right outside our door was such a cool surprise. Even though it was a chilly night, we stayed toasty warm thanks to the heater, pellet fire, and heated blanket. The converted church house vibe was right up our alley, especially with that cozy living room setup. Bedrooms are comfy. Plus, the kitchen had everything we needed and was easy to navigate.

The check-in point is very far from the hotel. And the hotel is located next to a long road with dust everywhere.Unable to open window .There is no electric blanket. There is no heater in the bedroom.

No bottle opener supplied, although we worked around it to open the tasty complimentary Bruny Island Cider. Extra towels, as most places offer, would have been a nice touch. The website could be more user friendly, although personal phone follow up was appreciated.

The unit was really comfortable, well designed and outfitted, with the option to sit out in the deck or on the day bed. Bed was comfortable. View was hard to beat! Windows that opened for natural ventilation always appreciated. The units are a terrific addition to the Bruny Island accommodation scene AND so close to the hotel and great restaurant. The seafood platter is still a winner.

The room did have a seaview but the room was basically in the car park which was a bit of a let down - couldn't see that from the photos. Quite expensive for what it is.

Easy to check in and check out, basic kitchen equipment provided like microwave, kettle and fridge, clean, comfy bed and overall a pleasant stay. Great location.

The pods were really well thought out. The room was great, but the bed could have been a little more comfortable. It really was something else. We would definitely stay there again . Close to the hotel and great food. Make sure you book for dinner.

After I booked a twin room on booking.com they tried to charge me $40 extra for 2 beds. I declined their offer, but when I went to check in,the lady and man at front counter both not that friendly or helpful, took ages to check me in as they both thought each other was doing it.

What a great setup with new modern conveniences. Had our own deck with two deck chairs overlooking the beach. Huge TV. Bed was super comfy. Shower was great, really good water pressure. Kitchen even had a French press for coffee, wihch is what I use at home. At night saw a wallaby near the deck feeding.

Surprisingly there was no sink in the ample kitchenette.

The view from the sea view cottage was fabulous whether on the balcony or inside from the window seat looking through the large window to plenty of friendly wildlife and photo opportunities. Very quiet and warm inside.

That everything was in twos, so when friends came you ran out of seats and cups etc. What was provided was adequate for two.
