Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The apartment looks a bit “tired” but it has everything to be comfortable (it wasn’t too cold or too hot when we were there). I think at least the blinds should be changed to something more modern. The balcony needs a bit of maintenance., maybe some cushions on the chairs.
Very roomy apartment, clean and well appointed. Close to the beach, restaurants and shopping.

Hotel is obviously outdated but if it was fully modernised it would cost twice as much. Bedroom windows didn't have good outlooks but that did worry us as the finished were all new and clean. We will definitely stay again.
Great view, probably the closest in all of Lorne you can get to the beach. Plus we booked this that morning. Was on the roundabout corner so could also see in the pub direction which was a bit of fun. Saturday night had live music but stopped by the time we went to bed. Under the pub was the excellent Totti where we went for a birthday dinner. It was funny being about to see right in while we were getting ready to go there. Elevated spa in bathroom had an excellent view. Guy at reception was very helpful & professional. I emphasis, you pick this place for the view, location and clean interior. Stay was excellent for the price and location and we are truly happy.

The bedroom is at the back of the unit and the outside area is lit up at night. The blinds did not block out this light entirely. The kitchen and furnishing are a little dated.
Location is great. The living area is spacious and looked out into a garden. There was a lovely outdoor area for having a bbq and drinks. Staff were very friendly and allowed us to check in early as we had a function to attend.

Exhaust vents were very dirty in bathroom. Fan provided in main bedroom was quite dirty and was broken. The fan also made a very loud ticking noise.
Room was mostly clean and spacious. Location was great.

Bathroom lights and needed a magnifying mirror for applying makeup. Staff cleaning rooms came at lunchtime when we were there having lunch. Would have been better during the morning ( btw 10.00 and 13.00) when we were out.
Location was great, space was excellent, facilities a bit dated. Sulfur crested galahs an awful nuisance if you go out on the balcony with food! Bathroom light very dim - no good at all for applying makeup or shaving!

Cleaning of the rooms were not done daily. Beds were made but the floor wasn't vacuumed and the areas weren't tidied up.
The resort is easy to find, within walking distance to the beach and the shops. Staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities were clean. There were plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained.
