Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There seems to be a leak in the bathroom from within the wall/floor, resulting in a pool of water constantly present. Our stay covered the weekend and we found initially there were not enough body wash or shampoo in the bath room for our length of stay. Luckily we caught the reception in time to get a few more bottles of body wash and shampoo.
Spacious apartment, good location close to shops and restaurants. Even cling wrap is provided in the kitchen

No hairdryer in the unit even though it was listed as one of the inclusions on booking.com site. Receptionist was able to obtain one for me the next morning when they opened. Even though there is a coffee machine, no pods were supplied. Very small issue, but may as well put the machine away if it's can't be used. We arrived late so I was desperate for a coffee and the packet stuff is awful. Very odd that there is no soap holder in the shower?
Great location. Unit was massive. Terrific views.

The bathroom needs a bit of renovation in the apartment we were in as their were moldy grunts.. but the rest was great

It was all good
The pool was excellent and the apartment large and well appointed. The air conditioning was on and the apartment was cool. It was a scorcher of a day so this was appreciated. I was on one of the higher floors and the view was amazing.

Carpark access to building was a little confusing but once we worked it out, no problem at all.
Great and spacious room with all amenities including full size kitchen and fridge and full laundry. Comfortable bed and lounge.

I did not like the sewage smell in hallway or the iron that was terrible and mean I could not iron my shirt for my meeting properly. I did not know you could get paid Wifi.

The lifts from the carpark to the main building were out of service the entire stay. This was a little inconvenient. Some mould in the grout between bathroom tiles. Otherwise clean and very spacious apartment with lovely views and nice breeze.

We had to park in the garage next door and the lift wasn’t working so we had to carry our bags down several flights of stairs etc. Not the fault of the hotel but as we arrived after hours a note letting us know this before we had parked would have been great as we would have unloaded everything before parking. We thought the parking was connected to the hotel.
The property was well located and we loved the view from our balcony. It was very clean and spacious.

If the apartment had not been so well located and spotlessly clean, we would have been really upset for the price and our length of stay as it was really worn and tired. Furniture was beyond old and some in need of replacing especially for price charged - dining chaos had large patches of leather missing, the bed sagged and carpet in need of a steam clean.

So much carpet. Not a fan. But that's just me. And lots of glass and breakable decorations. Furniture a bit old and flimsy.

Could do with a decent clean. Quiet dusty behind bed and around skirting boards. Fridge was dirty - crumbs. Hair all over couch. Cutlery draw has dirt? In it. Fans were covered in dust and lint.
Massive apartment with ample room for toddler to play. Bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Only stayed for one night, but it would be great for staying longer as it has everything you need. Off street secure parking.
