Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The bed wasn’t ours…but what can you do ;-)
It was very quaint and the room was incredibly clean and tidy. The little outdoor area/balcony was a great space especially for the kids. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Everything was great. The place was new, very clean and comfortable. Debbie was very helpful and welcoming. We even got an upgrade to a bigger apartment. Very recommended!

TV was difficult to program, although not a big deal to us. Husband found the mattress too firm and pillow too flat, but that is a personal preference, not shared by the wife.
The accommodation was an immaculate beach boutique-style suite. Fresh and uptown furnishings with a super large bed. Nice!

The rooms are absolutely immaculate! Beautiful linen on the beds that are like a massive big pillow. Fresh clean and peaceful and only a small stroll to the restaurants, this place will be our first choice any time we head back to rainbow beach

First and foremost- Debbie herself. Wonderful lady, full of energy and with the most welcoming smile. She really loves the place and it shows. As soon as I reached , she personally dropped me to see the most beautiful sunset of my life at the Carlo sandblow The stay -Beautiful place with attention to the smallest detail. I had an absolutely wonderful stay! The accommodation was spotless, making me feel right at home from the moment I walked in. The quiet, leafy surroundings added a sense of tranquility that made it easy to relax and unwind. The shower was fantastic, with excellent water pressure that made each morning refreshing. There was nothing I didn’t like
We loved the privacy. The comfort level was really high. Really comfortable bed and beautiful linen. We loved the outdoor kitchen. Super impressed to actually see microwave friendly cookware, as it’s rare. It was so quiet and close to everything. I highly recommend Debbie’s place

the people were so nice and everyone around were so lovley, we were booked into a larger room which wasnt avalible but they accommodated for us so well. the staff were lovely and the room was amazing.

This is a little gem. Super clean and comfortable. Very well appointed and Debbie is like your favourite auntie or sister. I would recommend Debbie’s to anyone heading to Rainbow Beach. Great on-site parking too. Oh, and the grounds are gorgeous. Tropical and lush. I felt like I was in my own private tropical oasis.

On a cold evening the room was toasty and warm. There was extra blankets that we didn't need. Lovely fluffy towels and an immaculate bathroom. The gardens surrounding the accommodation are lush and well looked after adding both to the beauty of the place and also the privacy between units.
